    dru's in love.:
I've actually seen all but two of those (and cried on all the ones I've seen, too), but that's not what I meant. Thanks though.
    I'll try to elaborate.

A movie like Closer. A grown up love story with so much truth in it that you think about every person you've ever been with and your heart feels like it's going to cave in. A movie for grown ups.
    The Kids Are Alright.
Seriously. It's like, it feels like a normal comedy, but it's not.
It's so serious and there's a lot of intensity in it, and though most people in it are a bit older (the couple is in their 40's I believe) you can still totally see it in your more serious relationships etc.

The Number 23 if you haven't seen it. I thought it was wonderful. And obviously the Truman Show, if you haven't seen that one already.

I actually have seen The Truman Show. XD I forgot to mention I'd seen it since I couldn't think of any dramas I'd seen him in.

I'll have to check out The Number 23. Are there any others you'd recommend? I've heard Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind is good; haven't seen that yet.

Eternal Sunshine is magical, so definitely check that one out too.

You can also check out I Love You Phillip Morris, it's not so much a comedy as you'd think. It's a lot darker than that.

    Any really crazy comedies?
Sort of with the same type of humor as The Rocky Horror Picture Show?

I'm looking for movies similar to Howl and The Notorious Bettie Page. Based in the 40's-50's-60's, a blend of black and white and color, that sort of thing. Shifty

Any extreme tearjerkers? Kind of like I Am Sam or My Sister's Keeper?
But the ending has to be good enough!

I want an extremely unsettling/disturbing movie. Something that leaves you feeling as uneasy and afraid as possible! (and I'm an extreme horror buff, so try and avoid really well known/popular horror titles)

    I guess I have a few:

    Human Centipede.
    Grace.
I Spit on Your Grave (AKA Day of the Woman)
Cannibal Holocaust. (This one is REALLY extreme.)
    Hostel
A Clockwork Orange (A bit unsettling and disturbing)
High Tension (Haute Tension; it's in French)
Passion of the Christ (Pretty known movie, but still disturbing)

    I hope this helps :)

Well, there's been a few answer before, but it's never too much, right? Let's hope you haven't seen these titles yet. Also, I hope you have nothing against non-American movies :)

    From Asia
    Philosophy of a Knife
    Men behind the sun
Niku Daruma - Judge for yourself
    A tale of 2 sisters
    Grotesque
    Pulse

    From Brazil
    Turistas

    From Europe
    Frontières
    Abre Los Ojos
    Tesis aka Thesis
La Hora Fría - The Dark Hour (mainly I recommend this movie because of the final scene, it's very Cronenberg-like)
