Any movies about cutting?

There's one: Painful Secrets. I don't know if it was a Lifetime movie or something, but I saw the whole thing on YouTube once and it's an interesting movie. Just be warned it might be triggering.

What about What Lies Beneath? That movie scared me quite a bit when I first saw it. Although I'd say it's more suspenseful than scary, but it definitely creeped me out.
- Neytiri.:
- Thanks, but seen them already. x]
I've seen a ridiculous ammount of movies in this genre, which is why it's so hard now to find anymore.
And no, no gore. I don't like it, because it doesn't frighten me in the least. Movies like Saw or Hostel just annoy me.
Already seen them. x]
- Teenage Dirtbag.:
- I'd recommend:
The Ring (one and two).
Orphan (AMAZING TWIST AT THE END).
The Reaping.
They're not ghost stories like you asked for, but they lack gore (well...Orphan has some) and really play with your mind.
How about Quarantine?
- FrankieMonster.:
- Scary movies - NOT gore.
I've seen the basic lot like the Exorcist, Halloween (new and old), Blair Witch Project, It, The Descent, Chucky, Rec (and remake), etc, etc etc.
I've seen A LOT of horror movies, and only a few has scared me.
I don't get scared by blood, but rather by "ghost" movies, like Paranormal Activity, The Orphanage and The Others.
So any suggestions in that sort of movie, would be awesome!
Hmm. Okay, how about some old school horror movies from like the 1950's or something? They usually focused more on the horror aspect rather than being concerned with blood and gore and over-the-top special effects.
- FrankieMonster.:
- ^ Seen it.
Sorry, wow, I've seen way too many horror movies. x]
- Jared Leto.:
- The Illusionist. - It also stars Edward Norton like Fight Club
Thank you. I'll rent them ASAP.
- Abbycus Forensicus:
- One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest?
I've heard of a movie called Were The World Mine. I think it has something to do with the gay topic.
- girlchild.:
- Hello guys. I'd like a gay-themed movie, it can be short or long, obscure or generally known, happy or sad, I don't really care as far as it deals with gay topic. I have seen and loved Shelter, No Night Is Too Long, Velvet Goldmine, Wilde and loved all of them, so if anyone has any other idea, please share. Thanks in advance!
I'll check it out, thank you.

Ink is an indie film. I didn't really like it that much, but my friends LOVE it. Indie films isn't really my thing, but if it's yours, I recomend it!

Already seen American Beauty(very good movie (:) I'll check out the other films in a bit, thanks so much.
- Rocket Queen:
- American Beauty
Burn After Reading
Death At a Funeral
Dr. Strangelove
Those are some good examples of dark humour, and I really liked all those movies.
I'm not too sure about the indie films because I'm not really hugely into them, but I will recommend Hard Candy as it was a good movie and much better than I was expecting. Ellen Page is the main female character and even though I don't like her much, she was really great in that movie.
For dark humor try Heathers, an old 80s films.

If you want something more recent, A Serious Man, the new Cohen Brothers film, was just brilliant.
I'd also recommend An Education if you're looking for a new indie film.
