Oh, Lord, make sure you have your tissues ready when you watch Bridge to Terebithia.

Sorry if this is really late, but A Very Long Engagement. I weep like a baby. It's a French film, if you've not seen it, but it's so exquisite.
- Penelope Garcia:
- Any tearherjers?
But that aren't just full of scenes that's supposed to make you cry. Movies that are happy too. Like My Sister's Keeper or PS. I Love You!
But obviously not them, cos I've seen those.
Thanks!
If you're still looking for any:
- More Original:
- Hm, any romantical/ comical movies?
The Proposal.

Not sure if you are still looking for tearjerkers, but Angela's Ashes was an incredibly sad movie. I go teary eyed so many times while watching it. I never finished it though. I wasn't able to.
- Teenage Dirtbag.:
- Any tearjerkers? I don't cry easily, so it'd have to be amazingly sad!
Examples of films that have brought me to tears are Bridge to Terabithia, What's Eating Gilbert Grape, Edward Scissorhands and Prince of Egypt ( I cry at weird things, okay).
Also, any good slash-y films out there? Preferably without too many sexual scenes. I'm quite interested in Brokeback Mountain- would you guys recommend it?
Underworld, Underworld; Evolution, The Vampire's Assistant, Blood Rayne, Blood Rayne 2, Daybreakers, Queen of the Damned, Blade, Blade 2, etc. I'll probably find some more to add.
- Bella Swan:
- I'm studying two courses on Vampirism and horror this summer, and I'm on the lookout for some vampire movies (and tv-shows too).
Obviously I've already been provided with a list of movies we have to watch, but I was thinking maybe to go in a bit deeper.
The movies (tv shows) I already have on my list:
Bram Stoker's Dracula, Buffy The Vampire Slayer, Let The Right One In, Nosferatu, True Blood and Twilight.
So except for these (and Interview With The Vampire and The Vampire Lestat - since I've seen those already and we're required to read the first book anyway) do you have any tips for good vampire movies?
Have you seen Lost Boys? It's sort of more of a comedy, but it's one of my favorite vampire movies. I heard 30 Days of Night is a good movie too, although those vampires are more evil and different from the ones in Interview With the Vampire and True Blood and stuff. I think From Dusk Til Dawn is a vampire movie. I haven't seen that one, but I heard it was good.
- Bella Swan:
- I'm so not into Underworld, Blade or The Vampire's Assistant. I've seen Queen of the Damned - but I've been meaning to watch Daybreakers for a while. So I'll have to check that one out!
I don't know if you're required to read Carmilla, but The Vampire Lovers is based off it as well as Blood and Roses and several others.

I don't know if you're still looking, but The Hamiltons is the best vampire film I've ever seen, hands down. But it doesn't explicitly state that they're vampires, and it deals more with the effect vampirism has on their family, and how they come to terms with it, rather than the actual vampire-ness itself (if that makes any sense ), so I don't know if it'd be relevant. Like...it's the most 'human' vampire film I've seen.
