Like Smooth Criminal, I though I'd put my hobby into this new board.:con:

I like to draw a lot, I have done since I was little. I love to draw anime, in particular anime girls.

So, does anyone else like to draw in their spare time?

I draw cartoons a lot. People with really big eyes and little mouths. My friends made me draw them all once, so they could use them as their display pictures. Oh, and I made my friend a comic book once.
    :tehe:
I've done one drawing of Kurt Cobain, and two Andy Warhol style Che Guevara pics. I wouldn't say I'm the best artist, but it's a good way to pass the time. And I copied out the artwork from The Distillers' Coral Fang album, if anyone knows that.

My buddies & me from our science class.

My friend made me draw pokemon. She's also made me draw a lot of things for her to colour in before too.

Here's a few of my proud moments:

I wish I could draw like some people can. I try, but it usually doesn't turn out to be like I wanted it to look like.

That doesn't keep it from being fun, of course.

^^I get really fustrated when it doesn't turn out like I want it, I spend hours on end attempting to correct one miniscule little detail. Yeah, it's kinda perfectionist. It's annoying:file:

I've been into ~artsy stuff since I was a little kid. I draw, sculpt sometimes, paint with acrylics/oil paints/gouache/watercolours (I hate watercolour though), and sketch with inks. :} I sell my sketches and things as well semi-locally, I've done that for about a year.

I love drawing. Making cartoons, doing fan art, and portraits with pencil crayon are all favorites of mine.

    I love drawing.
Portraits are my favorite. Lots of times I don't color my pictures in, I just use black and white charcoal and graphite mostly.

I like drawing, but I haven't seriously drawn anything in quite a while. Mostly I just do doodles in the margins of my paper during classes or something.

I'm taking a drawing class in school this year, though, so I'm really looking forward to that.

I like drawing little cartoony things.
Right now, I'm into drawing everyone from Mindless Self Indulgence and I like drawing classic Disney characters too, and drawing them in my own way to see how they'd look.
I drew Megan Fox today for all the boys in my class. :tehe:
I love it, but I get fustrated because it rarely ever turns out the way I want it to.
I wish I could draw more Chibi style drawings, but I'm pretty sucky at those.

I wanted to be an artist all my life till I was about ten....

now I'm an artist of words! lol

but yeah- any art is art, and art is beautiful and unique. There's absolutely no way art can go wrong, in my eyes, so i have a hard time seeing how teachers make students fail.... cause it's impossible. Art's different for absolutely everyone.

    and friggin awesome :D

    ^^So true, I mean, I've seen art that's just a blank canvas.

Art is a way of expressing your feeling, as with writing. And I personally find it easier, because some things you just can't put into word. Now I sound like some sort of freak...

Art teachers at our school base the grades on the techniques used. Like in english, where they grade you on how you've wriiten it, they grade you on how you've produced it... if you get what I mean?:shifty
