Writing

Writing has been my hobby since oui was about six or seven and I wrote my first story for First Grade. xD

I used to write poetry and songs when I was in elementary school, and in sixth grade I discovered my love of actual storytelling. It's all just snowballed from there. Along with drawing, it's my most prominent hobby, that's for sure. It goes hand-in-hand with it, too.

Drawing was my first real passion (if you could call drawing at age seven a passion) and then I realized that it'd be a great idea to write fan-fiction about myself and my favorite band members! At the time I had no idea what fan-fiction was, but details.

I love writing. I'm particularly good at fiction, so if I'm not writing a novel I'm normally portraying my OC's on roleplay threads on tumblr. I find it to be such a release. It gets everything that I want out of my system in a relatively safe way. And it doesn't always have to be shown! I think that's the best part about writing. You can keep it to yourself if you choose to or not.

I was an avid reader as a child, living in books to escape from reality. Then I realized I could write my own stories and create my own characters and outcomes. I started with *NSYNC and Backstreet Boys fan-fiction LOL. And I wrote in notebooks (I had a plethora of notebooks) before my family invested in a desktop computer, which we all had to share. I don't know what kind of writing websites were in existence back then, but I never posted any of my work on the internet, not until recently. I also dabble in poetry and Poe's The Raven remains my all time fave.

Writing is my one true love.
