Favorite Painter/Artist

Degas, Toulouse-Lautrec, Monet, Manet, Riberi, Jheronimus Bosch, Goya.

Just remembered how much I love The Lady of Shalott. I always did. Pre-Raphaelitism is probably the only movement from before the 20th century that doesn't appear pretentious and/or overdone to me.

Andy Warhol is the only one who isn't a cartoonist. Hey, cartoons/comics are art too.

I have many. At the moment I'm really in love with Degas, I think my painting style has similarities to his.

John Lurie. I'm really not a big art person; I prefer films and books and music, but I really like his paintings. They're really colorful, and abstract without being too abstract, and they're always kind of tongue in cheek.

Oh, and Kellesimone Waits. Her Mother & Child exhibit, in particular. So incredibly gorgeous.

I love the Disney Art, Anne Stokes and Victoria Frances the most ^_^

Love Frida Kahlo until the end. Her art is so fantastic, so emotional. And she was such an interesting person. I sometimes just read about her. Like, for days.
And, Laurel Burch. Pretty much the same than Frida, only Frida is better.
And Craig Thompson. He's the guy who wrote and drew Blankets. Gotta love him. I CAN'T WAIT until his new book, Habibi, gets to Slovenia.

I'm not all that much into paintings; sure I can recognize different painters but it's not all that much interesting to me. But if I had to chose my favorite, definitely Linda Bergkvist.
I'm a huge Sims fan and you should have seen my reaction when I realized that Enayla (everyone who's into Sims 2 knows who Enayla is) actually is Linda Bergkvist.

My favorites are, in no particular order besides the first, Tim Burton, KuKula, Natalie Shau, Jasmine Becket-Griffith (Strangeling), and Mijn Schatje.

Van Gogh, just because of Starry Night. To me, it's one of the most beautiful paintings that I've ever seen. It fills my mind with daydreams and story ideas and wonder. :)

Banksy. He's a graffiti artist and I love it.





Yeah I'm just in love with this guy. He's a visionary.

LenaDanya and agnescecile are two beautiful watercolor painters that frequently upload speed-painting videos on Youtube. They are a huge inspiration to me and my own art progress.

Waterhouse, Monet, J. M. W. Turner, Van Gogh, Renoir.

Well my favorite artist is Salvadore Dali, and I also like some of the old European masters.

I love Banksy. Not only is he a grafitti artist, but his art has meaning. He is seriously cool.

First and foremost, M.C. Escher. Dali is pretty cool too.
I also like me some Seurat, Keith Haring and O'Keeffe
