(besides the obvious, like clothes ect. ) .. Camera! Last vacation we took, my camera was broken before we left, so the first day we got there I bugged my mom to take me to the store, and blew half my money on a new camera. But it was worth it (:
A book. I always pick at least one book to travel with me. This summer it was this great novel I picked out. Reading it in a new country makes it so much better!
I hate bringing books on vacations, it just makes me miss out on all the new thing I could see and experience. That's, somewhat, my rule: never bring books! But what I do always bring is my skateboard. It's an easy and fun way to get around without using buses and missing anything out. And you can maneuver almost anywhere and I always find cute shops or cool bars hidden somewhere where a bus would, obviously, never go haha
I have to bring books even if I never get a chance to read them, theres just something in having them there, also I bring at least a sketchpad, pencil and a good cartooning pen, and my notebook whom is actually named Riot Mind.
Actually my account is an extention of my notebooks :)
An extra pair of shoes because they always end up in some swampy area or in some trecherous plain(the first shoe I lost was in a bog and had mud and the other had the smell of mildew
I always have to have a notebook. Because I always get ideas when I don't have it, and then I get frustrated. I also need my iPod, a couple books (that I usually don't read), & possibly some sort of gaming system like my PSP.
The one thing I must always bring with me is my i-Pod Touch! I always need it for listening to music and introspecting and thinking, etc. I also use the Notes app for typing out random thoughts and poem ideas. Basically my i-Pod is really important, plus it has a camera! XD
Other than the essentials I always pack my kindle and a notebook in my carry on, or if I'm in a car then in a backpack I keep in my seat. Those and my iPod.
Ipod & Headphones. I don't go anywhere without my ipod. I literally carry it around with me, even around my house. If I know I'm gonna be in a situation where it's quiet, I'll bring headphones.
Phone isn't a necessity, but would be nice. Chargers for my electronics. Gameboy & tons of games. Art stuff in case I randomly become inspired, which happens all the time. Maybe my laptop, just because I can't do everything on the internet on my itouch.
Oh, definitely, my stuffed giraffe. I don't care if I'm an adult, I still need my giraffe!
