I've been into photography for about four years now, and I absolutely love it. (: It's a great thing to do when I'm bored or lacking creativity - it gets those brain juices flowing again. :tehe:
I really love the freedom behind it as well (: I love the fact that each picture has a different story to everyone, and you don't have to write pages upon pages of what that picture means to you (unless you want to, of course). It's one of the reasons why, on some occasions, I enjoy photography more than writing - it gives me more freedom to imagine. (:

I like taking pictures and it's plainly just fun. I take pictures of anything really. Whenever I see something photogenic I'm like, That would be a great picture. That's just me.

I love photography. It's so expressive, and I love it.
I'm doing a photography course in college in September and I'm really stoked for it.

I don't do photography per se, but i like to take photo's and edit them to add more colour. I'm going to Norfolfk on a boat holiday on the Broads later the month and I am looking forward to taking photos of the wildlife and landscapes.::shifty

Photography is one of my favourite things. My friends & teachers say I'm great at it too.
I was head of photography for my school news paper.
I'm selling my drums to save up for a new & better camera!

for me, i always see things i would love to take a picture of, like the way trees look during fall, the streak of lighting in the middle of a storm, and other such random things, but i never have my camera with me :(

I love taking pictures. My parents and friends say they're pretty good. It makes me happy. :tehe:

I like landscapes for the most part, flowers, beaches, the ocean. I have some pictures of buildings and cityscapes, but I like nature better; it's more unpredictable.

I love taking pictures of the sky even though they aren't that creative, just because of all the amazing things the clouds and sunset do.

I like taking photos of landscape or of the sunsets and such. I take a lot of pictures of my friends too and I'm always looking for new ways to take a photo.

I like editing them too and making banners out of them, for example. :cute:

I like looking at good photography taken by people who are genuinely interested in it.
But then you get the 13 yr old girls who buy a canon and pretend that they are 'photographers' so they can be 'individual' and 'sensitive' and instead they come out as

    YES. THIS. x A MILLION.

God, that pisses me off so much.
Or kids with their cell phones/shitty point and shoots with bad photoshop added on top.

I, not to sound elitist or anything, want to be a pro, and compared to who else wants to be, I don't think I'll have an issue.

Oh god, thank you for saying that. Hail
I used to love taking photographs and I longed to be a photographer but mainly because of the reason mentioned above, I stopped. I was so passionate in photography. I mean, people would look at the photos I would take and would actually question if it was done by me or a professional. The first time I wanted to be a photographer was when I was about 14 going on 15, and Heather looked at one of my photos and commented, "You know, this is a great angle, and the light and setting is amazing. You should be a photographer."
I still like to go out to great places where they have excellent scenery and stuff and take pictures, like Loch Lomond for example. That place is beautiful for scenery. Especially when you're taking pictures of the water. I'd love to get back into photography, I really would. It's such a great way to express things and it's just this moment captured in time and it's going to stay there. It's amazing. In Love

    Sounds like me:shifty
Except I don't do it to be 'individual' and 'sensitive', because to be quite honest, I couldn't care less if I came across as a clone with a heart of stone:file:

I have a terrible vivitar (I know it's bad) camera and try to take okay photos... I should just give up. Sad

I love photography. I've always taken a lot of pictures, just when things looks interesting to me, ya know? I own a Cannon SLR. It took me forever to save up for it. :tehe: But I ifnally have it. :cute:
My sophomore year I took a photography class. It was awesome and got me really into it. I then took photography 2 the following year.
There are no more courses after that though.Disgust

I go to tech school for graphic arts and do photography there. I mainly do concert photography, but I love doing pictures of young children. :] The band Hope Runs Deep is actually using some pictures I did for them. They are an amazing band and you should check them out! :D

    Okay, I have a question -

How does photography release your emotions?

I just find it really relaxing...

I like taking pictures every now and then. I'm not exactly a hardcore photographer, though. :XD I use our family camera, which is alright. Better than most, but...not professional or anything.
