I try to have something to look forward to all the time :)

I haven't been to Lyon myself but I've heard great things about it; I met a few people who studied there last year when I was travelling this summer and only had positive things to say.
My French was also pretty intermediate when I first visited, but living there definitely helps! The European experience is the best/most important part of it in my opinion. I was in Avignon during the exchange, but we travelled a bit around the area, and up to Paris as well.

Nerves are the best part. I love feeling nervous, knowing I'm doing something I've never done before. It's probably one of my favourite feelings actually. :) It just makes it twice as exhilarating when you realise you've actually done it after the whole thing.

I live in Philadelphia, and the only other places I've been to are New York, Jersey, and Florida, which "don't count" considering where I live.
My college does service trips to different states and countries and I've been accepted to go on Project Appalachia, which builds houses in Harlan, Kentucky. I am so excited! We will be there for spring break -- March 1-8 -- and I am over the moon. I literally could not stop smiling the week I found out I was chosen to go. The best part is that, among the forty other volunteers, my best friend is also coming, and I cannot wait to share this experience with him, especially since this is his fourth and final year. I am counting down the days!

I'm going up the border of New South Wales and Victoria (the Murray River) with my grandparents the week after school ends.

About a month ago I found out I could no longer go to Italy because of family problems (mostly being that my mom is anti-help from anyone and has thus shunned the family which means if I want a place to live I can;t talk to them either). She found out and very quickly stomped on my dreams and hopes not caring what she was doing. On a happier note, I have been saving my money and instead of a thousand plane trip to Italy it is only 500 to go to Ireland. If I stay at this certain hostel I can stay for about 26 days which would be better then nothing for about 900. Now I just work my bone for the remainder of the money~~~

I hope to go to New York next summer to visit my mom's kinda-family. It's probably not going to happen, but I can dream. I've been all over the midwestern, northern, and southwestern States, but never further east than Ohio. I really want to go to NYC, but we'd probably just stay upstate, so the largest cities I've been to are Chicago, Dallas/Ft.Worth, and Houston.

EDIT: I'm applying for a scholarship to go to Iceland or Peru for a little over two weeks.

I'm going to London next month and staying overnight for a concert and then I'm going to the Prestatyn area in Wales for a week in July.

Next summer I'm set to go to Brisbane to stay with a friend I met on Mibba.
I'm possibly, if I have the money, going to go to Amsterdam next year too.

I'm going to Utah to visit family and my best friend at college for Thanksgiving. And possibly Georgia with my Uncle to visit more family and to help him with his depression.

I've got to go to Germany in two weeks to see my mum.

I'm going to upstate New York to visit family for Christmas.

I'm going to Atlanta, Georgia for a concert.

I'm going to Adelaide.

I'm 99.9% likely to be heading to Ryan's house in Stirling to celebrate New Year.

Hopefully Dubai.

Iceland, if I can get the scholarship. Which I didn't get last year.

In a few months, I'll be going to Flagstaff, Arizona. A great change from hot weather to cold!
