I've been singing all my life, but chorus class made me realize how much I liked it. Trust me, you don't have to sing well to have it as a hobby. I'm a mediocre alto girl.

Is it one of your hobbies? Do you catch yourself singing in the car or shower? Maybe you're going to sing for a profession?

I love singing with all my heart.
I've been in musicals, choir, everything that involves singing.
    Talent shows too.
I'd like to have it as a career one day; but wouldn't everyone? :tehe:

Singing is what keeps a smile on my face. Kind of a dramatic way to put it, but I sing whenever I feel lonely or bored and my mood instantly brightens.

I sing in our school choir and this past year have been accepted into the more prestigious choir that involves an audition and instructor approval, so I'm really excited for that. I may also join the yearly school musical, even though I think it's Seussical and that's not really my favorite musical in the world. No matter, though.

I used to sing in my church choir. :tehe:
But then the choir director moved, and now the youth choir kinda… sucks.

I sing in the shower or when the house is empty. I sing along a lot to my iPod. :XD
I like it, it's enjoyable, but I don't really think I'd pursue a career in it. As cool as it'd be. :tehe:

I wish I could sing, because I play guitar and it's be nice to be able to record some stuff. But I don't have the voice for it.

That's lame. You should at least give yourself a chance. It doesn't really matter how good your voice is, in my opinion, if the lyrics are great. Lyrics always overrule the voice for me. :)

    I love singing!
I used to sing for church, then I ditched church.
Then I sang in my public school choir, with getting leads.
and then I was in my high school's musical and got the highest mark in my vocal class in grade 9 (which was mixed of all grades).
I haven't taken vocal class since grade 9 just because I have no time but the vocal teacher is determined to have me in the choir next year.

I'm an alto, I can hit high notes but I have a better chance at cracking when I try.
I've been told I sing like Hayley Williams, P!nk, Avril, Gerard Way (Three Cheers & Black Parade era) & Josh Ramasy (Marianas Trench).
I know you may think I'm a flawless because those are good singers, but really, those are the only singers my friends know that they can compare me too.
I still don't think my voice it 100% great, just because my range sucks.
I have tone and everything down, but range can use work for me.

Can we post karaoke videos here?

I sing even if I can't sing. It's just so much fun, and I sing to songs I love. When I get upset, singing helps sometimes...I get some satisfaction when I beat my brother at singstar, the singer of the family no matter how trivial. I used to do choir. I dropped out, mostly likely due to my lazy disposition. I'm not very into participating in school events anymore, nor performing. Those things scare me...judging people scare me. :XD

You don't have to sing sing to sing... if you get what I mean. Take the Arctic Monkeys for example: Alex Turner doesn't actually full on sing, he kinda talks to the tune. And may I say, I find his voice adorableIn Love

I've always liked to sing to myself since I was little, but that doesn't mean I'm any good. I'd love to have a good voice, but not having one doesn't stop me singing, well as long as no one's listening:shifty

I absolutely love to sing. I joined choir when I was in 6th grade and I've been singing ever since. (I am now a senior in high school)
I have a pretty big range. I can sing alto and 1st soprano. I prefer soprano though, it's easier to me. And I think my alto voice kinda sucks. :XD

I just love singing. And I sing along with almost everything. :tehe:

I love love love love singing. In Love
I've been in choir from sixth grade to ninth grade, but stopped because I didn't have enough space on my schedule. D: I would love to go back into choir though. I've been an alto as long as I can remember. XD But there was a time in sixth grade when they asked me to sing a soprano solo with some other people. I loved it. :]
My friends in fifth grade always asked me why I wasn't in choir originally 'cause I always sang the loudest when we'd do flag. I didn't even know we had a choir so. :XD

But anyway, I love singing. So much. :] I'm glad that even if I suck at an instrument, (*cough*guitar*cough*) I still have a fairly decent singing voice. :D I think I need to practice more though, because the quality of my singing is starting to go. :/

    I can sing, kinda.
I'd love to be able to sing in front of people, but I can't. If I know people are watching me then my voice goes all off and sounds horrible.
    Stage fright. :tehe:
It really sucks 'cause my music teacher at school keeps telling me to go for the school play we're putting on next year.
I know I wouldn't be able to manage, but I feel like I'm letting her down. :(

    I absolutley love to sing.
I've wanted to take singing lessons my whole life, but every time I mention it to my parents they always seem to not really care.
There was even a point where I told my mom I wanted to become a singer and my mom told me I couldn't do it. She said that I should try to aim for a real job and that I wouldn't become a singer. : /

    I sing.
    A lot.

In my opinion, my singing voice is alright, but it could be a lot better. That doesn't stop me though, haha. I sing at every chance I get. I think it annoys everyone in my house. :tehe:

I do musicals here and there, but I don't think I would ever pursue a career in singing.

My mom also thinks I'm an awful singer, even though she hasn't said it in those words. :XD
After catching me singing in the kitchen while doing the dishes, she said,
"Why don't you join choir at school? I'm sure if you do, your voice will be even better!"
AKA: Stop singing, you're hurting my ears.

I love to sing. I'm in the school choir and it's like heaven In Love

I can't sing at home, though. My sister hates the music I listen to, and vice versa. So there's an unspoken agreement not to sing in front of each other :|

I'll sing if I'm listening to music and she's not there, though :cute:

I love singing, but I ruined it!
I used to sing in school shows and and theatre shows and my music teacher let e record in the school's studio for a while, but then I strained my larynx and wasn't allowed to even talk for two weeks, i haven't had the confidence to start up again since then.
