I would love to be the lead singer for a band, but my sister says I'm not very good. But she's only heard me a capella. I can really only sing when there is music. There doesn't have to be lyrics, just music. I love to write music and lyrics, though

Gawd, where do I even start? Ive been singing and writing songs for as long as I remember. I sing everywhere. My room, the living room, the kitchen, the shower, the car, the store, at school, you name it. Im singing. I also play bass and false chord to go with it. My dream is to perform. Ive been in a couple talent shows and Im always in the school choir. And I like to think of myself as the love child of Ashley Purdy, Danny Worsnop, and Kellin Quinn. Heh. But yeah, thats just me and my dreams <3

Love love love singing! I sing anywhere! I've done two musicals, which are fabulously fun! I'm in my school choir, auditioned choir and vocal class heh. I would absolutely kill to front a band, sing and play bass all at once. Like Haley Williams but better.
Me? I'm like the love child of Adam Lambert, Haley Williams, Kesha and Shayley Bouquet. Or so I like to think. I've been compared though :)

I'm an alto with only three octaves under my belt (I can reach past low E, if that helps.) I sing covers, more specifically Vocaloid covers translated to English. (exception: I sang Suteki Da Ne ((Isn't it Lovely?)) from Final Fantasy 10 and a few English songs.) I aspire to be able to reach five octaves and be able to pull off vibrato splendidly. I sing with my school band (We sing Seven Nation Army, Sweet Dreams, Dirty Harry, the likes.) but I won't be able to do it until January-- I'll be busy with college classes :C

I have terrible stagefright in front of people I know, but if you give me a group of strangers, I'm fine. (Guess the fear of being judged afterwards is too much...) But other than that, I'm happy to know theres a group here on Mibba! (I thought this was a dead thread tbh.)

What do you guys sing? (Does anyone want to collab with me? I know it's a question not even supposed to be asked but..)

Singing is quite literally the love of my life- I sing all the time!
I've been singing now for about eight years, and for most of them I've been classically trained (I suck at opera, so that's not what I mean by classically trained!) but I've defiantly developed my own kind of style. I'm at Grade 8 when it comes to grades and stuff, and I'll be doing my first of three diplomas next summer, which I am super excited for!

I guess theory wise (some super cool stuff here) I have a two octave and four note range- from a bottom F to a top C (on a good day), and I'm having lessons to stretch it and make it better, I suppose. I love to sing in front of people but I don't often get much of a chance, except with The Andrews Sister's-esque group that I'm part of.

Singer wise? KT Tunstall, Pat Benatar, The Bangles, Eva Cassidy, Lzzy Hale and a bunch of male singers because I can get that low!

I'd go crazy without it, basically. It keeps me happy and feeling okay about myself. Other than singing, I suck at everything, I think. Oh, but I was in school choir for about two weeks before my parents made me drop out. I absolutely loved it, and my choir director told me I had a beautiful voice. Swoon I'm a soprano, because I can go pretty darn high, but sadly, the low notes come out croaky.

I love to sing. I'm a singer who screams. My singing voice sounds like a girl but when I scream I sound like a guy.
I always catch myself singing everywhere. On the bus to school, in school, in the shower, on the couch (which annoys everyone in my housee.) I can sing high notes, and I can scream loud and low. But I some notes I can't hit when I scream

I love to sing, it makes me happy.

I'm the friend who always begs my friends for singalongs. Shifty They have relented though so that's awesome.
I feel so relaxed and at ease when I'm singing (unless it's something upbeat and in-your-face of course).

It's just a hobby for me though. Cute

I can only really sing when there's music. It didn't become a thing for me until super recently, actually. I started singing along to one of my concert DVDs, then at some shows. When I got home, I tried to actually do it and found I don't sound half as terrible as I thought I did. Well, I only know how I sound to myself, not outside of myself so for all I know, I'm awful! Haha.

I really enjoy it though which is sort of new because before, I would be embarrassed, even by myself!

I could not sing at all before I was dragged in to accompany the school's choir two years ago. I can only play guitar and when the song doesn't include it, I've no choice but to join singing.

Because of that, I was forced to sing at very high and very low notes, and now I've developed a habit of using that kind of voice for choir, lol. That's the reason my voice isn't the powerful type while singing normally. Now I've quit and I just sing along to the songs I listen to.

Another weird habit because of joining choir: I can't sing unless I sing while listening to the original song. It's troublesome. I'm skilled in music, but I guess I'm just really shy. :>

Oh, and recently I learned how to screamo. It's tiring, though, and needs lots of practice.

If that counts I was the lead singer of a band for three whole months when I was 15 XD
    *good times*
it was a shock when I heard my own voice for the first time, like when you sing on the mic and there's this little thing in your ear and you can hear yourself, it sounded really different but not exactly bad.

People say I have a good voice, now I regret that I never took classes or anything. I really love to sing, but it's not like I can sing at home or any other place. That's why I love karaoke rooms, karaoke parties, karaoke bars, karaoke anything.
If you invite me to a karaoke, you have to know you won't be getting me out of there so soon.

I wish I could become a professional singer, I can remember lyrics so well and have amazing timing, the only thing I believe is holding me done is my voice... >.> But it is a hobby, and I love working at a place where I can sing along to the radio :) My Dad and I sing along to the Beatles whenever we are out running errands.
