BG,Kentucky. It's kinda boring, due to we don't have much for entertainment. But it's quite, no BIG crime rates or anything along those lines. It's peaceful.
I live in Donabate, Co.Dublin. It's a village north of the city and to be honest the only thing I like about it is the beaches! Its boring and plain and wet. There are no proper paths and the roads are really narrow. And now a railway bridge collapsed and you can't go on the train! I do not like where I live. The village is horrible and its a bit sketchy at night.
I live in New York, in a town outside of NYC. I love it because... well, it's New York!! And I've actually had two celebrity spottings in Manhattan, Anne Hathaway and Rob Pattinson. :tehe:
I live in Taunton, in southwest England. It's okay. I like the fact that it it only takes about five minutes to walk to open countryside and half an hour to walk to town. Bands never come here but we have a train station and bristol is one stop away... and you can get to Cardiff too. But that's expensive, so it's a bit of a downer. Not much good has come from here. You Me At Six's tour manager used to be the manager of our Pizza Hut. The singer from Slaves To Gravity grew up here. Uhhh.... I can't think of any other awesome. Oh, there was massive rumours that Johnny Depp was buying a house a few miles away in the countryside. No idea if that ever actually happened. Not much ever really happens x) But it's home so I can't say that I hate it.
Ok, I live in Canada. Toronto to be exact and it's ok for the most part except it is cold. Like absolutely freezing for a minimum of 6 months every year! I am one of those people who is freezing even in the summer so this doesn't bode well for me. So I hope to move somewhere very very hot. But Canada is very beautiful, even with the snow. <3
I live in Christchurch, New Zealand. I like it, the winters can be freezing, and the summers can be boiling hot! So it's a good mix, and i like it cause you can either be in the middle of town or then go out to the bush where you seldom see anyone. I love NZ :)
I just moved here and I love it here. The tourists, though, crowd the streets and force mostly everyone to walk everywhere. It gets annoying when someone whacks you with a boogey board or some other oversized beach product.
I live in Chalmette which is a tiny town in the New Orleans metro area (seriously like 5/10 minute drive away from New Orleans :XD 20 minutes from the French Quarter). It was one of the hardest hit after Katrina and we're seeing little progress. At least they moved the FEMA trailers out of the park. There's not much to do besides go to the city. We don't even have a Walmart anymore, they haven't rebuilt yet. But meh, it's home... I just say New Orleans is my hometown though, I was born there. And it's a lot more fun there, all the shows are there. And I've met every famous person I've ever met there. :XD Besides All American Rejects.
I live near Waldorf, Maryland and we've been here for about 11 years.
Honestly, people tend to find Waldorf boring, especially if they weren't born here. No, we don't have a million malls, and even with this baseball stadium down the street, the biggest concert that've we've had here was T-Pain and Flo Rida.
I do like it here though - it feels like home and since almost everyone is moving around here, you really do get to know a lot of different people. Plus, a lot of teachers are moving down to this area. Most of mine are from Michigan and Pennsylvania.
I live in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. What's to like? The best part is, Center City. If you need something awesome, or weird, or just plain fun you can find it there. If I didn't have center city, I'd be bored out of my mind! Not to like? It can get to be dangerous, depending on where you go.
Despite my love of Center City, and despite the fact I don't despise where I live, I'd happily move away.
I live in a tiny village in Slovakia, about 40 minutes of train ride away from Bratislava. And it's... well. The village itself is incredibly boring and annoying. Whenever I want to get something, I have to travel to the nearest bigger town, because we only have grocery shops in here. Let alone talking about some kind of amusement opportunities.
On the other hand, when talking about living in Slovakia... I quite like it, I like the history of the country, the ~sight-seeing places, the nature. I like that it's so close to Vienna, and I like that it's really... not that insanely far away from other countries. We even start to get famous bands coming to have concerts here recently, which is a good change. But I don't like how conservative the whole society still is here. It's annoying.
I live in New Zealand, in between Auckland and Hamilton.
Theres 4 seasons in a day all year round. Wherever you are in NZ you're within 100k of a beach so I'm not complaining. Wouldn't want to live anywhere else.
I really like it. You've got the seaside, London a shortish train journey away, decent weather, the lanes are right next to my college, I live in a nice area, and there's the hugeeee town centre and a load of ~culture rich areas like the Pavilion and the museums and things. It's an interesting city and I'm happier here than anywhere else I've lived. The only things I really don't like are the insane amounts of tourists, how scuzzy some bits of it are, and how expensive the bus fare is, I end up spending about £20 per week on bus fare just to get to college. It's a little thing, but it bugs me.
