I live in the biggest city in Montana, which is still insanely small compared to other cities in other states. I've lived here for most of my life now, and I've lived in three different houses, all of which have been in the middle of nowhere and about a half hour out of town. Currently, I'm living a bit closer to town, up in the woods, where I've seen bears in my backyard, turkeys in the surrounding pine trees, and mountain lions in my driveway. I do love where I live, most times. It's quiet and subdued, and so lovely. The winters get so vicious, and the summers are brutal, and there's hardly any middle ground. It's crazy. But I love it here and my family's been talking about moving to Arizona soon and it's really going to be heartbreaking if I have to leave this place. ):

I live Moosonee, Ontario, Canada! Lived here and a close-by town/village for most of my life.

I like living around here. It's absolutely beautiful in all seasons. I like how peaceful and clean my town is. My hometown Moose Factory is an island village just across the Moose River from Moosonee.

Tourists come here in the summer and there's not much to do (no mall, no theatre, no public swimming pool- it's been broken for years). But there is some outdoorsy things you can do if you like venturing around in nature and such.

I don't hate the town I live in at all. It's a small town and I like how mostly everybody knows a little bit about everyone. Sometimes it's a pretty boring place, but I appreciate the small town-ness lifestyle I have here. :)

I live in a small town called Port Glasgow, in Scotland. I hate living here if i'm being honest.

    Main Reasons:

    - We have one of the highest knife crime rates in our county. Every murder is either a 14 year old boy getting stabbed to death, or a 14 year old boy stabbing someone else to death. Or worse, some innocent teenager getting targeting for nothing.

    - It's a poor area with little to no job prospects

    - High teenage pregnancy rate.. because young girls with babies can get money from the benefits system. Most young girls here are happy to admit that they deliberately got pregnant to get money, because they can't be bothered getting a job.

    - Every street is full of alcoholics or junkies.

    - There is nothing for young people to do. It's no wonder they all drink in the streets..

    - Every one knows each other, and rather than having a sense of community, it's all about gossip

I could go on, but i'll ramble. The one good thing about living here, is that i have my amazing friends and my fiance' of course. We all want to get out of this dump, as soon as possible. Until that day, we at least have each other, so i keep myself positive :)

    - You can kick someones ass without getting arrested.

    Bad Shit
    - Police are lazy fucks that don't do their jobs.
    - High crime levels.
    - Drugs. Lots of it.
    - Alcohol is a main beverage in just about every house.

I live in Melbourne, Australia. I don't mind living where I live, I live in a big city where there's lots of other people. It's kinda boring though, and there's a lot of hipsters but they aren't as annoying as the bogans (kind of the Australian term for redneck). They're racist and they're the sort of people who are unemployed because they want to be and live on welfare payments.

I'm from the western Chicago suburbs. I live in Baton Rouge for college at the moment. My home is about 25 minutes from the city so I get to do all the fun adventures that go on there - concerts, conventions, festivals. Illinois seasons are lovely (especially fall). Illinois in general has some beautiful prairies and forest preserves which is a nice alternative to the city. I live about 10 minutes from a forest preserve. The only things I don't really like about my town is it's getting a little...trashy. And the winters can be a tad bit too long.

As for Baton Rouge, I love the people. It's a different way of life down here. I also love the culture. While Chicago and that general area has so many different cultures, Louisiana has such a rich culture. However, I don't like how it's 70 degrees in December. My mind is confused.

Florida. I love the beaches and everything about it, except that I'm from the North. I long for home and my family and old friends, who are long gone by now. I miss them so much. I miss my old small town and comfort of it. This southern charm/kindness down here doesn't work for me & is all too fake for my liking. I'd like to live in many other places, but this'll do for now.

I like when it's TT week (two weeks of motorbike racing where we have a fair and beer tent and clubs are open almost every night)
I don't like everything else about it.

Australia, mate. It's actually... not so great sometimes. For instance, my internet is slower than dial-up, and I depend on writing and selling books online for my entire living. It's not the worst country in the world (we have some amazing beaches), but the summers are Hell. The flies and spiders are straight out of nightmare.

    Pros:
    -CRABS.
    -We get all the seasons.
-"America in miniature": in addition to MD having everything but deserts, my town is pretty much a good little microcosm of American life.
-Double Rock Park + cemetery you can walk to from it. Prettiness.

    Cons:
    -Right next to Baltimore.
    -Summer sucks.
    -So few nice, intelligent peers...
    -Hard to get to concerts.
-So few abandoned places to explore/places to explore in general.

I live in San Francisco, California. I absolutely adore it here.

    Likes:
    -The beaches
-The weather (most of the time)
    -The city
    -How accepting most people are
    -How laid-back most people are
    -The rain and fog
-The good public transit system. I don't drive, so I take public transit if something isn't within a decent walking distance. You can get almost anywhere in this city by bus or train.
-The parks. SF has got some gorgeous parks, they and the beaches are nice getaways when you need it.

    Dislikes:
-How expensive things are. The cost of living is outrageous around here, it's ridiculous how expensive things can get around here.
-How crowded it can get. I like going downtown, but I'm not overly fond of the mass crowds some days.
-Some of the tourists who come here. Some tourists can be ever so annoying and lack basic manners.
-All of the homeless. It's heartbreaking to see so many people suffering like that, SF has a big problem with homelessness.

    2) Corruption within the police
    3) Drug cartels
    4) Drug cartel violence
    5) Murders related to the drug cartels
    6) Femicides
    7) Shootins
    8) Corruption in Federal Police and Army
    9) Government influenced by the drug cartels
    10) Elections being bought by the political parties. Give us your voting credential, we give you money.
    11) Mass Media bought by political parties.
    12) Lack of freedom of speech. Complain about the government or protest and you are likely to be kidnapped and murdered.
    13) Own a business? Oh, it's a neighbor convenience store? I don't care, give a portion of the money you earn to the drug cartels or get your family threatened, you kidnapped, and murdered.
    14) Lack of education. Professors are all under one union and it does not require them to be tested for competency. Lack of good educators and of an actual regulation of the services they provide to the community.
    15) Unemployment.
    16) what is there to like about this place?
