Funeral For A Friend, Northampton Roadmender, March 31st 2009. My favourite band at my favourite venue. Plus, their singer, Matt, held my hand and sang a verse of one of my favourite songs to me
11-13-07 cause that was my first concert 11-13-08 cause it was the first time I saw TAI & it was one year since my first concert... 5-2-09 - Bamboozle. FOB. Self explanatory.
McFly 23rd February 2008 At the Annandale Hotel, Sydney, Australia.
The best concert ever, and probably the best day ever for me is well. Got to meet the boys themselves (even though it was surrounded by a mob of other girls), met some pretty amazing people including my online best friend, Rosie. The music was amazing and everyone looked like they were having the time of their lives.
All Hope Is Gone Tour 2009 Trivium was so kick ass missed Coheed to go meet the knot and Slipknot was just killer, can't even put the awesomeness into words
Billy Joel. =] I was going to go to bamboozle, but then my friend's mom, the provider of the tickets, thought we were all suicidal so she didn't let us go. So, the only real concert I've been to is Billy Joel. I was eleven.
I've only really been to two concerts (two that you had to pay for at any rate) and they were My Chemical Romance in February of 07 and Marilyn Manson around September 07.
I liked both. x]
And if festival kinda things count, I liked both of the Yakitup festivals I went to. The bands I can remember are Birds of Tokyo, Bob Evans and The Bullet Holes the first year and Jebediah the second year I went.
In order of awesomeness: Franz Ferdinand/Green Day ( 8/8/09 ) Foxboro Hot Tubs ( 5/20/08 ) Kaiser Chiefs/Green Day ( 8/7/09 ) Franz Ferdinand/Green Day ( 8/9/09 ) The Living End ( 12/13/06 ) The Matches ( 9/1/08 )
One of the best days of my life. I was at the barrier for every single band (and I saw a fair few on various stages!) and I met the singer of one of my favourite bands afterwards.
However seeing FFAF on my birthday may beat that, so I might be back on here in a few weeks to ammend my post.
Toss up between: 3/21/09 Avenged Sevenfold, Papa Roach, Burn Halo and unfortunately Buckcherry & 5/17/08 Lynyrd Skynyrd.
The a7x show was amazing, definitely a euphoric show and I had floor seats which was too insane. Seeing Lynyrd Skynyrd though was my dream, and it was my first concert.
