Odd Hobbies

Doesn't really count as a hobby, but I have a lot of teddy bears which I still cuddle at night... people find that odd. BUT THEY'RE SO COMFY OMG.

I also quite enjoy tidying my room from time to time, making corsets and other types of EA and rococo inspired clothing (normally out of old pairs of curtains), and one thing I really love is sitting on my roof at night, playing guitar and singing quietly. I can't explain how it makes me feel. The atmosphere, the silence... it just makes everything you play resonate in your bones... amazing stuff.

Yeah I'm rambling now. Lol.

I like to clean a lot.

Not sure if this is a hobby, but I love to collect containers. Things to hold stuff. I make it, buy it, find it, ect...It just fascinates me for some reason.

I also like to make booklets, too. Size up the paper, put a cover on it, staple together...I do it all the time.

I've collected movie tickets for a little over two years now. There's a rather sentimental lil story behind it, but yeah most of the people I tell think it's a bit strange, although I can't really see why.

I collect Living Dead Dolls. Alot of people get creeped out by them, but I love them.

I collect boxes. Jewelry boxes, display boxes and even make my own. I also collect rocks, well crystals. They go inside my boxes

I often talk to strangers and make friends with them at the mall. I've made some very close friends by doing it.

I love to cuddle. a lot.

I am some kind of paper scavenger. I like to go to a bazaar, a festival, a tourist place and then collecting anything from brochure to name card. I also love random pretty photos that I randomly find so now I have billions of random pictures on my wall; house advertisement in Canberra, car advertisement, a page about going to Flinders Chase National Park, pretty sofa picture, photos of seagulls in Darling Harbour, a movie poster, etc.

I collect different copies of Alice's Adventures in Wonderland/Alice Through the Looking Glass.

I collect trains. Like, toy trains, model trains, breakable trains... any kind of small train that can be collected. I even collect photos of trains and everything. I've loved trains ever since I was just a little girl. I'm not sure why but I'm absolutely fascinated by them. O_O

When I was little, I used to collect rocks. My mom would get so angry when I brought him rocks in my pockets. XD I stopped doing it as I got older though. ._.

Oh! and I collect Ramune bottles which are these.

I collect quotes and keep them in an Ugly Jug. There are lots of different origin stories on Ugly Jugs, but most of them agree that they have something to do with scaring away the devil and other malevolent spirits.

When I'm having a really awful day I pick a quote out at random. It's a weird sort of pick-me-up. The jug really scares the shit out of people, but I think it's kind of symbolic.

I spin my own yarn. On a spinning wheel (yes like the one from sleeping beauty). I also dye my own yarn and fiber. And of course I knit. There are very few people my age that do any of those things let lone that are also guys.

Apparently, it's strange that I'm as obsessed with kandi as I am. [beaded stuff ravers wear.]
I've made backpacks and purses and all kinds of things lol

I don't know if this is odd but I keep and breed fish

One of my hobbies is actually programming I like programming languages and the like. I would love to make games but the math is just too much so I'm just settling for the simple stuff for now like random number generators. Also, I collect Tolkien books.

I collect notebooks, pencils, pens, and writing prompts. Mostly otp prompts in four notebooks of mine.

I like to crochet which doesn't seem odd to me but to others it apparently does.

I do both of these, and I am also a furry. I'm starting to collect/make fursuits and collars.

My family collects coins on a casual basis. If we find a special edition coin belonging to our country, we'll add it to the coin box, and any odd foreign coins we find go in there too!

When I was a kid, I used to collect weird junk I found outside our apartment. We lived on the bottom floor until I was seven years old and I had no friends as a child, so the quarry beside my home provided hours of entertainment. I was constantly pulling bizarre things from the dirt and keeping it on a rock in my garden. I wish I could remember more of the things I found but for some reason the only thing that sticks in my mind is a piece of strangely patterned broken china, which I always liked to imagine came from a teapot.

When I was older, I collected cats. Not live ones, but as a cat-lover, I was out to collect any and all cat ornaments, statuettes, and toys that I could find. I even had a set of three shelves that I crowded with my weird cat collect.

And to this day, I also collect plastic animals, the kind kids play with. I adored animals and had an 'animal box' as a child where I kept my horde of animal toys. But I adore them too much to ever get rid of them. I have over three hundred and I intend to keep getting more. I have no display for them... maybe when I move out.

This was more a list of weird things I collect than hobbies, but none of my hobbies are too weird aside from these.
