I used to collect rocks and stones, ones that looked pretty. Haven't done that in a long time though.

I did that when I was a kid. But my Step-Dad kept throwing them out so I had to hide them under a bush in the garden.

I think for a hobbie, and use my imagination to create different stories. Like, I'll be walking down the street and I'll start thinking of myself in third person and put myself into a different situation and as a different character. Sometimes I act them out (i.e. i'm escaping from something) and become the character.

It's fun.

So did I! And I had one of the raddest collections, too. I kept em' in an (empty, obviously) Folger's coffee can... but then I lost that can. I don't even know when I lost it, either.

Cross-stitching.

I haven't done it in ages, though. I was getting good.

I love doing it! Right now I'm doing this huge one of a cat sleeping in a book shelf. I've actually been doing it since I was eleven :XD

I paint on my hand. It'll start out as something tiny, like a sea horse, and then it will explode into an amzing display that straches from my fingertips to halfway down my arm.

I also photograph balloons.

I buy && collect books on serial killers. I have 54 so far.

I sit outside of a Starbucks and make up stories about the people that pass by.

I collect Herbal Essences shampoo and conditioner. Every time a new type comes out I buy it no matter if I still haven't used the three other types. :XD

I also have the tendency to keep all the empty bottles in a box.

My grandfather has an odd hobby. He likes to mow his grass - he has a lot of it - around twice a day. Ever day.

I have a Special Shelf over my desk.

My little figurines and toys hang out up there. It started out with a few, and they all started coming.

I have a Joey Ramone action figure, a plush monkey, a dachshund figurine, a Sandman action figure, a punk rock Londoner Barbie, a tiny Buddha, an Asian rubber duckie, a Madam Alexander Dorothy doll, a piggy Pez dispenser, Shaggy, Boober Fraggle, a miniature water gun, a jumping chick toy, a Han Solo action figure, a plush beagle, a plush dachshunds, and a pair of Remus Lupin and Sirius Black action figures which I regularly pose in a loving embrace.

Next to them are fourteen empty glass bottles, most of which are from green iced tea.

I'm also addicted to silent films and fifties B movies. I watch them constantly. :weird

I cross-stitch when I'm bored even though I don't get very far and I've been working on the same piece for a few years now.

I collect 5c coins and stamps from around the world.

I suppose this is going to make me sound like a complete freak, but I talk to myself in the mirror.
Sometimes for hours at a time, ahah. Pretending I'm with different people, in different situations,
that sort of thing. I can pretend I'm someone else entirely and I suppose I use it as a stress
reliever.

This might sound weird but my hobby is singing... to movie/play songs. I also like watching movies, with songs in them, and only sing to the songs. I guess that would be a hobby because I do it all the time.

Same! I actually had a massive book full of feathers. So pretty. No idea where that went D= And the rocks were in the garden, mum refused to have them in the house. Mainly 'cos one time I went overboard... and made my room into a virtual 'beach' rocks, shells, sand... the whole deal. You can imagine. No more nature inside from then on for me. > <'

I also used to collect the complimentary toiletries in hotels, my family used to get them for me when they went on holiday too... again, I haven't done that in a long time.

Already ditto-ed the rocks. But, it's not really my hobby I guess... However, my family and friends used to always give me stuff from hotels and aeroplanes, so I kind of ended up collecting it, never got used to be honest. =S

I used to collect:
Sylvanian Families (Up until the age of 11. They still take up 3/4 of my room and I figured in wholesale, worth over 5000+ God knows how much I actually spent on them, eBay bidding on 'Rare's included. > <')

Fruit Stickers (I have thousands stored away in Flip-Files. I still would, but over here they're... -well the branded ones at least- are slowly becoming extinct. So sad. So sad.) T,T)

Clothing Labels/Tags (I have a Pretty-Graphic fetish. =D)
So to add to that, I now also collect:
Sweet wrappers,
Receipts,
Bags,
Leaflets,
Free Merchandise,
Tickets (from gigs)
....Anything pretty enough/memorable. Recently, I bought a book where I now create a kind of scrapbook diary of my experiences using all the pretty things I collect/ed from days/events and writing around/under them. It's fun as hell to make, and even more fun to look back on and read. CX I reccommend it to all of you random-stuff-from-events colectors out there. =)

When I was younger I collected the stickers on apples. Also I used to make army clothes for my barbies out of old socks, attach them to plastic bags and throw them out the window and pretend they were on army missions.
