I don't like how some people complain about the minimum of 100 words of original content in their blog posts. Srsly. The minimum used to be 200 words.

That and 100 words isn't even that much. Anything less than that should just be put on twitter or facebook. Shifty

Yo, I agree, though it sucks that I have to think of other things to say, that just gives me more incentive to dish out dirty and juicy things Shifty

Other sites are able to offer bold and italic font options, as well as keeping you up to date with the chapter numbers so that you don't inadvertently give two chapters the same number and then have to re-edit your mistake. Why not Mibba?

Oh, and some accessibility options for we severely visually impaired authors would be nice.

Bold and italics are available on Mibba. You use BBCode which, granted, isn't like having the option there in a text editor but it allows you to change the font style. Here's the code for both:

    [b]Bold[/b] - Bold
    [i]Italics[/i] - Italics

That so many writers here don't know how to write a log line. A log line can make or break a story for me...and if you don't have one, I probably won't click on your story. I know not everyone here wants to be a pro, but a log line would be so helpful!

A short summary about your story, something every writer, pro or not, should know how to write. For instance, here's the log line for my book Rescue Me:

Jacoby has always stood by his husband, no matter how far into addiction Jimmy fell. Now, with Jimmy off his meds, and back on drugs, Jacoby has to decide just how strong his love for Jimmy is.

It's something I would put so that when people searched for my story, they would see this. In theory, that would cause people to click on my story and read it. If a story doesn't have a log line, I'm not likely to take time to click on it and see what it's about. If all that box in the search says is which characters are in it, no thanks. Give me something, give me a reason to click on your story.

Ah ok. That makes sense. That would definitely be useful for drawing people in but I think a lot of people do write that. I know I add one into most of my stories. :)

Many don't. I see things like: featuring [character names] or If Bob can't save the world, what will happen? Rhetorical questions are the death of every log line, query, and pitch, not to mention opening lines. I want to see something that really draws me in and makes me have to click on that story.

Would you consider writing a tutorial on log lines? You explained it really well, and it's something I'd definitely be interested in learning more tips about. I'm sure tons of people on Mibba would be too Think
