I hate that they've moving threads around. It's great that these new threads are here, but I don't like that they moved existing threads.

It's just to keep things organised the best we can - it wouldn't make much sense to have the writing contests or editing hub under the Technology section! XD

Does Dujo even remember he made this site?

Like, I don't mean to be a pest and I know he's got a life of his own to lead with responsibilities, so I'm not asking for him to be online 24/7, or hell, even every single day.

But when was the last time Dujo did anything for or on this site? Maybe I just don't know about things or times, but it feels like a really long time.

Several things when things get suggested as fixes/upgrades for this site, we get told that it's something Dujo has to do, and it's been months since those things got suggested. And while it's slightly annoying, but also totally understandable, why some things can only be done by Dujo, it's frustrating when it feels like he's not actually active on this site.

This. I feel like he's abandoned us. There's so much to be done on this website. I wish he would come back and code it so that most of the stuff could be done by the staff members and then he can leave us again.

I don't like how I'm using adblock and Mibba is still showing up with ad's and random words underlined as links. Mibba, you can stop now. I'm getting pretty irritated.

You should check for viruses. That's not a normal Mibba thing. (It usually only happens if your computer has picked up some other kind of adware/virus-thingy. It happened to me with my previous laptop. Shifty)

I've done a complete scan and update on the computer but it's still happening. I can't even click Mibba's actual links without it opening a separate page for ads.

It's definitely a virus that is not being picked up by your antivirus. Same thing happened to me a while back. Try googling it - that's how I remember resolving the issue.

Check your browser's add-ons. I've had that virus before, and if it's what I'm thinking about then there should be an add-on in your browser that you never installed. Uninstall it and restart your browser. That should fix it.

Welp, ex boyfriend download an mp4 download program onto my computer earlier (I knew about it) but apparently a mystery program was also downloaded. I've removed both of them and for the moment things seem okay. No random ad pages or underlined words yet. There weren't any mystery browser add on's so if this doesn't fix it I honestly have no idea what to do. Right now I can't afford to take it to someone who can get more thorough with their virus hunting. :|

Edit: Mibba's extreme lag and refusal to load anything on the site has also cleared up completely. I think I found the issue when I removed those programs but obviously I can't be sure 100%. Thank you for responding though. Audrey too.

I'm honestly just super sad about how dead this site has become. I joined maybe 7 years ago and there were CONSTANT poems and stories being written. I don't know what happened but it seems like 50% or more of the users have left and are inactive now. I would post a story and get subscriptions and comments galore, now I'm lucky if I even get people to READ my stuff. It's just depressing, I love this site and I want it to go back to the way it was. Sad

That it takes me ten years to check my alerts, and half the time, they vanish, so I have to be like a psychic ninja and remember whatever thread/blog/story/what-have-you someone replied to me on/commented on Twitch

Either an Admin deleted my post from six day ago or Mibba ate it...that's a new one. I responded to the Mibba is dead comment...did the comment get deleted for some reason?

I'm 99% sure I saw your response while I was lurking and none of it seemed delete worthy. Unless there was another crash I don't see why it would disappear..

^This! Though I joined about four years ago but still! This site has become so dead. Im a bit inactive at the moment because mind is telling me not to come to Mibba but yet I still do because some part of me is hoping that Mibba will be as lively as it once was.
the avatar's being so small. It kinda makes it hard for me to see half the avatars sometimes, even with my glasses on.

I feel like when I log on I should want to write. I should want to update and interact with whomever I come across but I don't. I log on to check messages, sometimes blogs and stare angry at my empty story list. I haven't felt the Mibba vibe in a while and I definitely bums me out. This will be my eighth year I think (come November) but I don't feel like a member anymore. This is starting to sound like more of a personal issue and not a Mibba issue but idk. It still sucks.

I, too, don't feel like posting here. I do have one short story up, but that's it. The story quality on the sight has been going down hill for quite some time, which makes reading unpleasant. Those of us who do work hard on our stories, and work hard to make them well-edited, etc., have to struggle for readers. I'm not here for the numbers, but if I'm going to put the effort into editing and writing a story to post, it'd be nice to have someone read it.

But it's also not a community anymore, either. I used to be active in the various fora, but this forum and another are about the only ones I bother with. And while I'm still writing for publication, I no longer feel like writing for Mibba, which is sad. I've been here for a long time and it's gone far down hill =(
