Like the description says, this is a thread created to tell stories about your phones malfunctioning, due to a fault in the phone or...well, due to you/someone you know being less than smart. :XD

My sister left her phone on the roof of our friend's car. We were driving down the street really fast, and the phone flew off. And towards a cop. :XD Luckily, it hit the ground just after the cop passed. It survived, but only because she had it in a casing. :lmfao

Everyone always tells me it's so common for people to drop their phones in the toilet. Who's actually had that happen?

One of my friends brought his iPhone into the hot tub with him. :lmfao
It wouldn't work for a week, but now it does. Haha.

    Yeah, I do.

I remember getting it. I think I was like, "Yeah! Wow" And then I dropped it. :lmfao

My old cellphone messed up on me major time; it was a Motoroker or something like that, and one day it started erasing my contacts and I had no signal and I couldn't make phone calls nor send messages. Hence why I was 6 months without a cellphone :XD

I went camping, and I lost my bars, and then suddenly I got a white screen! Disgust Turns out the stupid thing got messed up from roaming!
But my boyfriend, he took his phone onto the football field, and let's just say...
That the football player's mistook his phone for the football and it wound up, crashed onto the principle's windshield, and he had to have a new windshield put in. :tehe:

I had the LG shine a while back. So, one day, I put it in my back pocket. I decide to try and be all cool and roll over on top of the hood of the car, like a secret agent, and I guess my big butt cracked the screen.
    :lmfao
But not really.I had a lot of cool ringtones/pictures on it and I lost em all.
THAT is what sucks about getting a new phone.Disgust:

Not mine, but my husband, a few weeks ago, wrecked his phone when he, and two of his friends decided to wrestle in the paddling pool :XD

My old-old phone, I dropped in a puddle, and every time I pressed a button after that, it'd call or text someone. People kept getting blank texts, or getting calls where they could hear what was going on from my pocket. It was really annoying, but really funny to look back on, because it confused everyone in my phonebook :XD

I never did anything to it but everytime, without fail, that I type "Dunkin Donuts" into a text message, it shuts off!

For the life of me, I can not figure out why it does that.

My old cell phone died after it got wet. I don't know what exactly happened, but I was hanging out with my friend one weekend, and it somehow got water damage.

I think one of us set it in a cup in her car without realizing what we'd done.

It just stopped working after that. To the point where it wouldn't even turn on.

I really miss that phone. My new one just... sucks.

I don't have insurance either ('cause verizon rips people off.)

My phone fell into the pool and I'm still mad about it because it's my new phone.

Now I'm stuck with my old crappy phone and I'm still pissed off about it. :grr:

Hopefully I'll get a new one because I keep hitting my old one against all these hard surfaces and talking shit about it.
    :shifty

My cousin lost his phone because his dad's car had an open hood and while they were driving, it flew out.
They stopped and asked the police to find it, but no luck. He makes me feel less stupid. :XD

My old phone was screwed up for awhile and whenever I would call my voicemail to check my messages, it would call my friend.
I finally had to bring it in to have them fix it.
I still have no idea why it was doing it. :XD

I've dropped my phone out of windows a few times. Once in junior high (at home looking out the window - of the third floor - while talking on the phone), once when I was living in the dorms (pretty much the exact some story as junior high - but I was on the fifth floor), once in the old apartment (I usually charge my phone on the windowsil at night - the next morning I woke up and pulled up the screen because something was stuck in it, then I accidentally knocked the phone off the sill).

A few days ago I dropped my phone off of the dining room table, it wouldn't work at first then it slowly started working. Now the sounds won't work. When I press buttons they'll beep and I can hear calls fine but my ringtones and videos won't work. I think it's unfair because I've barely dropped my phone and yet my sister drops her every week and it's fine. Stupid phone.

My sister's friend dropped her phone in the toilet, then a week after she got her new phone she dropped that one in the toilet. She was able to dry the battery and fix it, though. A friend of mine jumped in a pool with his phone in his pocket, now everyone makes sure to tell him to take all electronics out of his pockets before swimming.

I'd changed hoodie from a two pocket to a one pocket, was running a bath, leant over to turn a tap off and my phone went for a wee swim :lmfao

My current cell phone, the camera takes green pictures.

I don't know how it happened, it took normal pictures for awhile then one day I took a picture and everthing is green.

I checked my camera settings and everything is normal... GAH...

Then years ago my very first cell phone must have fell out of my pocket because my Papa had found it on the ground at his house and it had been run over. It still worked but not for long.
