I love my Sidekick 08. It's really handy and I love the customizable shells. :tehe: I don't like how much it messes up, though... but restarting it or taking the battery out fixes the problem usually. Overall, it's a pretty amazing phone, and I definitely rec it.

I can't get that in my town....but the next town up can! :grr: So I have a LG Scoop, from Alltel/verizon. I love it!

But we don't have them here, well, that's a lie we do. We have the Australian version which is called a Hiptop.

Well in Canada there is no T-Mobile so you can't really get Sidekicks here. But my brother's friend like sells cell phones and stuff and he has a Sidekick 3 for $200. I've wanted a Sidekick for a very long time. I still want to Sidekick badly but my parents still won't get me cell phone service. When they do though I might buy the Sidekick, but I don't know.

I love my phone. I've dropped it several times and it still works!

i like the sidekick, i've personally never had one but my friend did and i loved playing with it. he'd take my phone and i'd take his and we'd text back and forth. sitting next to eachother.

Sidekicks hate me.
I've had two. [/spoiled] Both broke within a year. The second only lasted a four months.
I don't know if I just bought shitty models, or if I'm just insanely irresponsible. But they just do not like me.
I'm over sidekicks now. They are really expensive and other than the awesome internet they aren't much better than other phones. Plus they're gigantic and I found it hard to fit them in the pockets of skinny jeans.

I've had it for about a year now, and so far so good.
I haven't had any problems with it. If I don't turn it off for awhile and constantly keep it on, everything will start to run slower, but that's really the only issue I've ever had. :think:
Besides the crappy service, but that's t-mobile's fault, not the phones. :coffee:

I might be the only person on the planet who doesn't really like the sidekick.
Sure, it looks cool and all- but it's not practical for myself.
I can get everything a sidekick can do in a smaller phone for less.
It's cool to say you have, I just don't like them.
Plus, I find the keys so hard to use.

I have a sidekick 08 and I honestly think the sidekick is better than any phone out there. I could never not have one at this point.

but man!
The ball thing doesn't work as well as it should.
It goes up and to both sides, but not down. At all.
Sometimes it freezes up and it has days where it just sucks,
but overall, I love my sidekick.
I want to upgrade it to the new sidekick lx, the 3G one.

I had the Sidekick Lx and I lost that at Fiesta Texas.
Then I had the Sidekick 2008 and that fell in the toilet at K-Mart. :tehe:

No more sidekicks for me.

I had a Sidekick Slide...and then I dropped it in a sink full of water :tehe: It was never that great.

Is anyone else's sidekick acting weird lately? Mine keeps blanking (deleting EVERYTHING stored in it and the time/date won't stay set).

I just don't like sidekicks. They're too chunky for me :|

I had the ID cause it was cheap, and it was love at first text. XD
The internet was good, and everything was so easy to do.
Plus I had Sonic the Hedgehog part 1 and 2 on it<333

I used to own a Sidekick 3 and then ended up with the Sidekick Slide... I don't know... I thought it was cool at first, but then I grew to hate it.

i have a black sidekick lx '09. it's got its upsides and its downsides... heh

I just got my LX yesterday.

I've had my Sidekick Slide (purple) since 2008.
It's been a great phone. My only issues with it is that the little scroll ball isn't working anymore but after over 2 years of constant use, I'm not surprised it isn't working too well anymore. (It'll scroll up but it wont scroll down.)

I've been thinking of just getting an upgrade to a newer model though.

and I HATE small, skinny phones because the smaller the phone, the flimsier it is. I 've dropped this phone countless times and it's been just fine.
