I have CS2 and CS4 but both of them became stupid and stopped working on my computer which pisses me off.

Photoshop is probably the best photo editing software. It's simple to use and just plain fun. I love it. Paint, Gimp, or stupid Picnik do not compete with Photoshop at all!

    Oy. What's all this then?

Frankly I still find it shocking that Photoshop is able to compete with GIMP, but then again, the same argument could be applied to Windows versus Linux as an operating system.

I have no clue what Picnik is, but Paint does not belong in the same category as GIMP. GIMP is in many ways better than photoshop. I used to think that Photoshop was better but that was before I learned the in and outs of GIMP. It's really, a much more powerful photo editing tool. What gets you though is the interface. In photoshop it's all there and easy for anyone to use. GIMP is more difficult to grasp, but once you do, you'll never go back to photoshop.

I have CS3, CS4 and CS5. Cough. I go between them for some reason, I don't know why. CS5 is pretty sweet though.

I also use photofiltre; never used gimp before but I love photofiltre omg.

Hey guys, I do work with Adobe, and saw that some of you don't have access to PhotoShop, or your access has expired. I just wanted to chime in, and let you know that if you're a student, you are eligible to receive discounts of up to 80% off of the Adobe CS5 Student and Teacher Edition.

I have CS5 for all my Adobe softwares, thanks to my school... but I seriously hate it. Well, just the magic wand tool, for Photoshop. I like CS4 better. Though when I do pixel art, I like MSPaint. Photoshop's fill tool just doesn't do it.
