    Synopsis taken from Barnesandnoble.com
For years, Grace has watched the wolves in the woods behind her house. One yellow-eyed wolf--her wolf--is a chilling presence she can't seem to live without. Meanwhile, Sam has lived two lives: In winter, the frozen woods, the protection of the pack, and the silent company of a fearless girl. In summer, a few precious months of being human . . . until the cold makes him shift back again.

Now, Grace meets a yellow-eyed boy whose familiarity takes her breath away. It's her wolf. It has to be. But as winter nears, Sam must fight to stay human--or risk losing himself, and Grace, forever.

The sequel to Shiver is called 'Linger' and is due in the Fall of 2010

I read it this past weekend and adored it to bits. Mrs. Stiefvater's writing style is beautiful, and the world seems as real as real life.
Has anyone else read it? If so, how do you feel about the book? What are your thoughts on it?

I LOVE that book! At first I only bought the book because of the pretty cover, then after five days of owning it I began to read it. I instanly became addicted to it!

I love pg. 198 and how adorable Sam sounds,
Sam: *Stops dead in his tracks* Oh my God, what is THAT?
Grace: In my language, we call it a hat. It keeps my ears warm.
    Sam: It's horribly cute.
(^^I think that's how it went XD)

I don't know why but I squealed and laughed when I read that. It was 'Horribly cute'. :)

    THERE'S A SEQUEL?! Crazy
I loved this book. It was just so...cute. In Love And well-written.
I wonder what the sequel's going to be about. The ending didn't really imply to me that there would be another book. Think

I saw this book in the store the other day and I was going to buy it, but it was 16 bucks. Is it worth the money?

I've read the synopsis of it and I think it's really interesting, but I wanted to know if I should spend the money on it.

It was $33.95 at Borders, $25 at Angus & Robertson and I got it for $18.95 at Big W after shopping around for two days. (That's Australian by the way) I don't know how close our currency is to yours (not my thing) but moral being, you may find it cheaper if thats pretty dear where you are :)
As for it being worth it, haven't had time to read it yet. :| haha

I was initially drawn to the book cover, then I read the blurb and thought 'Twilight much?' but then I decided to give it a chance, and I actually read in about a day and a half - it's actually amazing, and I can't wait for the sequel!
You should watch the book trailer too - it's amazing, and Maggie Stiefvater made it herself. Just type 'Still Wolf Watching Shiver' or something to that effect into Youtube :)

A lot of people on Mibba seem to be reading this, so I've decided to check it out. I saw it in a bookstore ages ago, but once I saw the word 'wolves' I put it back on the shelf. tehe I swear, Twilight is ruining EVERYTHING for me.

I love this book. I just finished reading it, and I'm rereading it again, because it was purely amazing. I didn't know there was a sequel, now I can't wait. I love the part when Sam and Grace are in the candy shop, I found it incredibly adorable(: This book was one of the best books I've ever read.

I read this book in April over Easter break. Like a lot of you guys, I was nervous that it was going to be another Twilight but - oh mon dieuuuu! - it was amazing. I literally love it. Whenever people ask me for book reccs, it's always on the top of my list - it's amazing.

I'm definitely going to have to check out the sequel. I was checking out Maggie's site recently and I could've sworn that there was going to be at least three books - but I may have read that wrong.

As for the movie, I think this could be amazing with the right actors. They need to have passion and chemistry because this is an epic romance in my mind and it needs to be portrayed that way.
