Asian Dramas

I haven't watched any good ones lately... I tried Boys Over Flowers (Korean)... and that was a complete bust (soooo corny). What are your favorites? Recommendations? Cute actors... etc?

My favorite from almost everything I've watched was probably Full House. XD
I've watched it like thrice already. Twice in English and once in Korean. It was more hilarious in Korean though. XD

I started Kimi Wa Petto and Hana Kimi (the Korean version) but I never finish anything.

I thought Endless Love was tear-jerking.

Jewel in the Palace is amazing, the first 40 or so episodes at least. I love watching people cook food and the overall plot was ridiculously dramatic enough to make me laugh a lot.

My friend just introduced me to Asian dramas recently. I'm currently watching "Take Care of the Young Lady", and I think it's pretty cute and interesting.

Katorse... ? Filipino telenovela.

Try Japanese Dramas-Comedies, they're both ridiculously stupid and funny and sweet. Stuff like Gokusen (not much romance though but lots and lots of cute actors... I can't even resists writing a fanfiction for it!) are awesome stuff and Rookies is another version of it, dealing with baseball.
Hana Yori Dango (Japanese version of Boys Over Flowers) is really the best make of the story.
Then stuff like Absolute Boyfriend, Tokyo Dogs, and lots more.

My Girl and A Love to Kill are my favorite Kdrama, but I got sick of Korean drama when the actors kept either crying and dying or being too corny for my taste

Yeah I prefer Japanese dramas as well... some of my favorites are: Hana Yori Dango, Majo No Jouken, Hana Kimi, One Little of Tears... There are some many good ones so I recommend Japanese dramas.

My Lovely Sam Soon was so nice. I dunno whether Filipino movies qualify but here I go...

Autumn Tale (Korean) 5/5 - tragedy (i cried so much)
Cain and Abel (Korean) 4/5 - medical/action/just plainly EPIC - very realistic
City Hall (Korena) 4/5 - comedy - very, VERY funny

LIFE (Japanese) 4/5 - school
1 Litre of Tears (Japanese) 5/5 - Tragedy - based on a true story of a girl with a illness that slowly takes over her, no not cancer, this is much worse.

Anyone knows Meteor Garden? ;)

I personally love Boys before flowers! At first it was kind of corny but i ended up watching it all and loving it! And i love Kim Hyun Joong in We got Married! it was so funny!!!!

lolol I'm such a bad Mibba member! Thanks for the suggestions.. I actually tried all of them at one point or another, and most of them were just too corny for me. Like the Korean 'Boys Over Flowers' was so so so horrible for me because I absolutely disliked the girl.. you're supposed to root for the girl, but I ended up hating her :P

I recently watched 'Mary Stayed Out All Night' but then stopped in the middle because I learned that my bias in the series wasn't going to get the girl.. sigh.. I wasted so much time watching it =_____=
