The Over 5'4"

My family is made up of people 5'5 and shorter. Even the men. For some reason my brother and I got zapped with the big gene. Always been like that, I was the tallest kid in elementary school. I've been mistaken for much older multiple times. Even a boy because I always have short hair. My mom says its because I look like my father.

I look down at my mother and I'm face to face with my father. Everyone else I look down at. It's odd. I don't know my height...

Last time I was measured I was 5'6 and a half. That was when I was 14 though. I grew... Alot. I think I'm around 5'9 but no way to know...

5'9 isn't very tall but my family is very small. So I'm obviously the one out. Actually out grew a car...

I'm 5'10" 1/2 and I fear I'm still growing, haha. I always wanted to be 5'11", though, but when I'm next to my friends I always want to be shorter. It's a hard life, yo.

I'm 1.7m. Not sure how much that is in feet but... MAN! Why are tall guys in short supply?!

5'10'' and a half, and I want to be 5'11''. I like being tall, it means I don't have to wear tall heels :D

5'7'' and a half, which isn't very tall considering the males in my family are well over 6 feet (my 16 year old brother is 6'3'' and still growing :|) and some days I wish I were taller.

but I feel like a giant next to my friends who are all well below 5'4'' (especially in heels) and my boyfriend is literally just a scosh taller than me at 5'9'' and is insecure about it, so I never wear heels around him to make him feel better, hahaha.

I feel like a fucking GIANT compared to all of you! I'm like, 6'1" - 6'2"... I hate it. There's nothing good about being tall (in my opinion). Everyone around me is shorter than me, even my dad. It's really annoying (especially when people come to me asking me to reach something for them).

I'm 5"6" 1/2 so some people think I'm tall and others think I'm short, but those that think I'm short are about 6 feet tall so of course I'm short to them haha. My mom is 5"4"-5"5" and my dad is 6"4". My parents and my doctor thought I was going to be around 5"9", but at 19, I'm pretty sure I'm not going to get any taller and I'm quite okay with that.

I'm 5'5" which is pretty average. I would looove to grow two inches though. I also have the mixed debate of whether I'm tall or short. I don't know why but people around me seem very fixated on height. ::shrug::

I've always been really tall for my age and my mom always told me that when I was little, she took me to my pediatrician and the first thing out of him mouth was "Wow. She's tall. I bet she's going to be six foot, at least."

On that note, I'm 167~ cm, about 5'6". I get people asking me what year I'm in all the time because I apparently look like a college freshman.

I'm closer to 5'7 than 5'6. I'm one of the taller girls at my school, and I'm taller than half the boys too.
I like being on the taller side. It's nice.

I'm not even that tall, I'm 5'7" but people are always telling me I should be a basketball player or a model because I have the height for it. The height is mostly in my legs, they're super long.

Yeah. I'm the second tallest chick in my grade. There's like a whole 5guys that are taller than me in my grade and a whole 3 in the grade above us

uhm, so yeah. Still 5'11 :D

I'm 5'10" and I thank god I stopped growing. Being a girl and having big feet ain't cute, and all the really nice pants usually don't come in tall sizes. And I hit my head a lot...so in my humble opinion, being tall kinda sucks

My goal (as though I can control my physiological state, pssh) is to be taller than my brother who is 5'11", but ideally I will achieve this by settling at 6'+.

I'm 5'11, possibly 6' now. I'm currently the tallest in my family, but I know both my brothers will be taller than me. My sister will probably be as tall as me. Sometimes I hate it. I do love bragging about being tall. Especially since I can eat whatever I want and not gain weight. What sucks the most is finding clothes that fit perfect, mostly jeans.
