^ That sounds like fun tehe Taking the names of your characters, anyways.
    Roseh; thank you:
I don't tend really to think of people as being "mibba famous". There are the people I see around alot, and the people I talk to regularly, such as everyone on the Mibba Magazine, and people who share the same interests as me, such as IcamaneHatake, Ice Queen and fightoffyourdemons, who are all fellow Harry Potter fans. Not all of them are "mibba famous", but they're the people I know best.
Exaclty. Like, when I think of fellow HP lovers, I think of you and ipodlover, and when I think of the contest forum, I think of other people, and then on the tips forum, it's another set of people (usually Audrey and Dru xD).

Personally, the only one I think is completely, in all ways, Mibba Famous, is Dujo File

Exactly. But I always think Dru and Audrey T. when I think about posting in the Writing Tips forum.

It's always been Dru since I joined, left and came back.

Also Dujo and Audrey, when I came back I noticed that there were others but in no way as "famous".

    @ dru brings sexy back
Oh my gosh yes, really bad brain fart on my part.
I used to lurk around the forums a lot and I'd always see her too.

Mibba Famous mibbians are just members who are active on the site. I don't really like the label. I prefer to be called an active member rather than Mibba Famous.

This is a writing site, so I tend to think of writers. Not even hugely longtime ones. There's the obvious like Dru, who is the be all-end all of P!TAD fanfiction and she's on the boards a lot. I have to give a lot of credit to dandygurrl though. Seriously, that dom/fertile thing severely took off.

By this logic I ought to be king of this place. It's pathetic how much time I spend here - at least six hours a day if not more.

Same. I creep on ridiculous levels as well so I don't even look as active as I actually am.
On the topic note though, I think the whole Mibba Famous thing is silly and causes arguments. I don't think it should be taken note of in any situation because the 'Mibba Famous' are just as it was said above - people that are seen about the site. It isn't difficult to do and it doesn't make a user any better than another, slightly less active user.

I mean, look at spacejunkie. Trist is literally almost never on and he's site-known and popular with loads of people. XD

Man, Mibba famous is always hard to describe, really. I agree with what Vechs said, sometimes the not so active users get a lot of love lmfao

Honestly, it's kind of annoying to me when people try to play it off as if there's no such thing as being Mibba Famous, because there definitely is. With any large group of people, there are going to be some that are just more popular than others. That's life. And while I'm not saying that everyone who's "Mibba Famous" is guilty of this, I do feel that there are instances where more popular users get away with saying or doing things that the run-of-the-mill user doesn't, such as making a controversial statement without being attacked by a gazillion people, acting condescending towards others, being superior about their writing/being a fic snob, etc. I feel like it's kinda in the same vein as the pretty, popular girl in high school that can get away with being slightly bitchy because of their good looks and popularity. But just as not every popular girl in high school acts bitchy, not everyone who's Mibba famous acts jerky.

I've never been really sure of what exactly makes some users more popular than others. I can attest that it isn't frequent activity or seniority because I've been an extremely active member since I was sixteen, and I've never been Mibba famous. Hell, no one even really knows me by my real name or refers to me by my name, even if I've worked with them in co-writes or something along those lines.

I think there are different ways and forms that people become Mibba famous, like some people are well-known in the blogs or forums, some are known for having nice themes, etc.

Am I the only one who, when I see you mentioned, thinks Kandi and not lyrics to a Coldplay song? Shifty
I'm well-known, but I wouldn't say I'm famous. I have a few good friends here, a few people know of me from others, but I'm far from Dru status. If there's anyone famous here, it's Dru. Period.

Aside from Dru you're actually one of the first users to pop into mind when I see Mibba Famous in any post. Shifty

Agreeing with the others, your username is one of the first I think of when I think of well-known Mibbians. You, Dru and Audrey are probably the first three people to pop into my head when I think Mibba. Shifty

Well then, I guess I'm just totally oblivious Embarassed If anything, I feel like I'm only relatively well-known as "the Big Time Rush girl" XD

There are people I consider to be blog famous or forum famous or theme queens/kings, but I've always felt like the biggies in general were Dru and Bella before she left because they were both very active on all aspects of the site, and then Audrey and Kurtni because there was a long time when they were the only two real staff members.

I think you've just been on the site for so long that I'd recognise your username / writing anywhere. For as long as I can remember, you've been around and that's saying something because I'll have been on here 5 years in June. I think you're just one of those people that I instantly see and go "oh, Kandi". I honestly think I associate you more with your make-up tutorials than anything else though. tehe

Yeah, those are the biggies for me too. I reckon everyone has those faces on the site that they would instantly know, but I don't think it makes anyone better than any other user and I hate when it's used like that. I mean, I'm not amazingly well know, but I think I'm probably a familiar username to some people but I'm literally just like everyone else on here -- a bit of a reading and writing fanatic. The whole label thing stirs up a few arguments so I tend not to label people anyway.

Yeah, I tend to recognize a lot of people if I've had conversations with them or if they're active on the same sections that I am, and since I joined forever ago, I tend to recognize the users that joined around the same time I did and are still active XD On the other hand, there are a number of people I see blogs praising or see mentioned a lot on the boards as being admired or whatever, and I don't know who the heck they are XD If I've met someone through profile commenting back and forth, PMing back and forth, working on a co-write, or even now with the clubs, I try my best to refer to them by their actual name because I like that personal touch tehe

I mean, I've never considered myself to be Mibba famous because people rarely ever randomly say hi to me or comment on my blogs or read/rec/subscribe/ANYTHING to my stories, but I don't feel like there's anything inherently wrong or bad about that term. There's that small minority that lets it go to their head, but it is what it is.
