I recently found a website called This I Believe. This site is full of well written essays on beliefs that normal people and famous people have written since 1950. They range from religion to being chill to the pizza dude, and it got me thinking:

Fellow Mibbians, what do you believe?

I believe that tow trucks shouldn't charge you if they are 4 hours late. ::Ranting:

I think everyone needs to calm down, and we need to help each other out every once in a while. So far, the only thing that's been proven is that we have each other. So, we might as well make the best of it.

I think everyone needs to shut up about judging others, and learn to accept everyone around them. I think everyone should just get along with each other. I also think that people should stop pretending to be like everyone else, and express their own personality. I have seen people who don't like a group of people because one person doesn't like them. That needs to stop. But that is just me.

I believe if people would shut their mouths and open their eyes and ears every once in a while, many of their questions would be answered in the first five minutes of silence. They'd also see the beauty of the world that they are destroying as we Mibbians see it, and not as something you can replace once it is used up.

I'd like to add to mine:

I believe Coldplay's music is the best thing to calm anyone down. Seriously.

I believe that children can survive anything but as you get older, that will starts to fade, till you realise that you have to keep surviving when you have someone who needs you to survive.

I think that people should show some empathy for others and that we should stop just acting my advantage but to help others just for helping them. We need to realized that we could be the ones that need help and how it would be for us if there were people just walking by and not noticing us.
We have to learn to accept that we are all kinda the same, no matter how different we seem to be. Everything that makes us different from one another is DNA and synapses that link differently in our brain, which is what creates thoughts, opinions and so on. We all breath the same air, we eat, we drink, we sleep. We cannot say some humans are worth less, just as we cannot say animals and plants are not worthy.

I believe that people should stop THINKING so much, and start LIVING.

Also, I believe that everyone should have a pet. Because everybody needs a non-judging, always loving shoulder to cry on.

I believe that whatever people believe is what is true. Like Christians go to heaven and Buddhists get reincarnated, etc.

I also believe that my twelve-year-old brother is the biggest douche alive.

So, there is no definite truth in your opinion?
Every person's truth is truth? Only subjective truth and no universal truth?

^ Ha, I just can't wrap my mind around that notion. x|
There must be something bigger than everything, right? Some surpreme being? Or something that exists as a whole, like Buddist's nirvana?

I just don't see how truths could change from person to person...

Subjective truths would be nice, though. If that were true, I would believe in reincarnation....just because I would rather live another life than go to heaven. I mean, I know heaven is supposed to be this utopia and all...but it seems sort of monotonous to me. Just heaven. That's it. For eternity.

Believe in the impossible. Because it is possible.
Also....when life gives you lemons...make orange juice. Then try to get people to figure out how you did it...XD
    ~Jay

My philosoph is probably forgive and be forgiven. Be a good friend, and protect those you care about with your life. Never let go.
    ~Jaymie

I really don't attach myself completly to one thing....with very few exceptions.
I think there is only positive in the world, and the negative is just the absence of the positive. Einstein said that! ^^~
    ~Jaden

In general, life can be awesome, and stink at the same time. All the same, we respect it, and aren't about to let go of it soon.
