I believe that Aang can save the world.
I believe in vibrations and energies and how it can affect the outcome of things. I believe that we, as people, have turned into dull robotic humans and have stopped looking for excitement in life and are only driven by money and the expectations of others.

People aren't here to be changed, they're here to be understood, it doesn't matter if someone is different to you and that seems wrong, because they'll see their own lives as right.

My philosophy is that even though humanity has established itself to be such a powerful race, we overrate our existence. This planet, Earth, is a tiny speck of dust in the galaxy out there beyond. That makes us pretty small and insignificant... how meaningless we truly are, when it all comes down to it.

Maybe something along the lines of rationalist or empiricist? I don't think I have much in the way of philosophy. I think most things are just superficial, to be honest, and it's just people that make them up (so maybe bordering on existentialism?) For a few years now, I've tried, I really have, to believe in life after death, in higher beings, heavens, in the supernatural or mysterious energies, but I've found that I can't, no matter how hard I try. And I'm sick of people yelling at me for it.

That I'm never going to understand anything about life, the universe, and the people that occupy it and that I think it's supposed to be that way.

    My philosophy? Hm. Difficult.
I'm a surrealist and I live a perpetual existential crisis.
I guess you could say that I feel it's up to me to find what the universe needs.
We're ants on a dust mote in a streak of gas in an infinitely expanding, infinitely infinite vacuum. I've got to find out why, if we're so very insignificant, we exist at all.

    I guess mines a little more simpler and less poetic than others but it's oddly soothing in bad times mines is;

Time is false an idea we humans have created. and life is just a concept we cannot yet understand.
we will never truely understand the meanings of these two ideas. your own perception is a false reality to others.
im sure it couldn't be any more vague. but with higher ascension and advanced awareness of our consciousness, we can become more aware of the truth that's hidden behind the curtain.

I think that if we are so insignificant, that if there are so many things out there that are bigger, better and more important than any of us, we choose to decide how small we make ourselves to be.

I have yet to understand why -of all the things to exist in this world- we were made and born. I believe that there must be something up there that allowed humanity to exist that we have yet to understand and comprehend.

I think I should start living by that, too.
I believe that everything happens for a reason and what comes around goes around. Nothing is by chance—everything happens because it has to and sometimes you can't make sense of why, but I believe that there is always a reason why.

My philosophy has strong links to Taoism which I didn't realise or even know existed until recently.
I believe that we are all truly connected to everything around us, and so we must readily treat everything with respect and compassion. I believe in reincarnation - that energy never dies, only converts (our souls).

It's hard to explain but I'm sure there are more than enough of us who have experienced this feeling of zen when we surround ourselves with nature or even become inspired by kindness. It's sort of like an all-knowing feeling, but that's not a good way to describe it...it's fear-eliminating and calming in the sense that you lose thought for a while. You only focus on the here and now, but you notice everything around you, and it all pleases you. The world goes on before your eyes but you are content idly watching it do so without really having a body in a sense. You observe and you appreciate. Your self does not matter to you in this moment; it's as if your self does not exist.

    "Ever onward and farther in."

My friend said this to me one day a few years ago and I've never gotten it out of my head. I live by it.

I developed this philosophy when I was around ten yeas old and a very catholic girl. Since then I've jumped from catholic to skpetic to athetist to spiritual to buddist to skeptical buddist to just plain skeptical. Here it is: when making a choice, make sure it'll be positive for YOU as well as the people around you.
I also feel like the more knowledge you share and seek and spread, the better our society shall become.

I believe that the world is as it is despite all the chaos in war, there are good people and if people would just stop judging everyone based on a generalization they would understand that.

Being a dutiful person of dictate, I looked up the definition of philosophy, and there were at least four long descriptions. But the words that stood out for me were: nature, reality, knowledge, reasoning, inquiry, sciences, arts, theory. All these are of seeking and change. So, what is my philosophy? Life can't be controlled, but an individual's action can create future existence...
