I searched, found nothing. Lock if duplicate please.
Apparently Jean leggings, or "Jeggings" are starting to become the new trend. The name pretty much describes them. They are leggings that look like a pair of skinny jeans. Personally I'm kinda on the fence about these. I mean they are kinda cool, but I'm not sure I would ever wear them. I mean, you could just wear a pair of skinny jeans. What do you think?

Agreed. Although, if you happen to get thrown into a pool then you having to walk home, you wouldn't get a rash. :cute:

I think these are absoloutely awful. O.o I don't understand the whole trend of wearing just leggings/jeggings with a top because I think it makes people look alot bigger than they actually are, and I've seen to many camel toes on people with them. Although on the other hand, the model up there actually looks quite good in them.

Slightly different, but I have jegging underwear :tehe:
It makes it look like I have demin hot pants on.

I think they only work if you have skinny legs. Otherwise, it's just best to avoid them. And yeah, like Cat Casino said, there can be a lot of camel toe, so if I'm ever wear leggings I wear long tops so you should probably do the same with these.

I can't stand those. I'd never wear tights as pants, so why would I wear patterned tights as pants?

Camel toe and flaw revelation galore.

    No thank you.

The ones in the first post are the only pair I've ever seen that aren't totally wretched-looking, but even then they're a bit silly.

I actually see the point in these. I can't wear jeans because I find them too uncomfortable/painful but I like the way denim looks, and I would probably be able to wear leggings without much trouble. Still, I wouldn't wear them unless under a skirt/dress, which I suppose defeats the objective.

I got these in Paris in 2002 I think. My mom made me wear them and I couldn't stand them. I thought they were sooo tacky!

I hate them so much. I don't really see the point in them, tbh. They can look nice on some people, but on most people they just look vile. And most girls seem to think they can get away with not wearing something that covers their bum, most of the time you see horrendus camel toe or you can see their panty line. It's atrociously bad.

I've also seen someone wear jeggings with denim hot pants on over them. It looked awful! I have no idea what she was thinking.

    Not such a huge fan.
I don't really see the point. They just look ugly on pretty much everyone except for the models.

I agree completely. I mean, they are completely pointless. I was watching something on TV and someone said that they were going to be the next big thing for fall fashion. Seriously, I do not find them fashionable one bit. I'm not a fan of just wearing leggings, I prefer something that will cover me up a little bit more. Plus if you don't wear a top that will cover your butt then you get those horrendous panty lines. Those are not attractive at all. Thumb down

I personally think this is a trend that wasn't thought out thoroughly. I mean, whats the point of wearing leggings that look like jeans? Either you wear jeans or you wear leggings? I just..don't get it, nor do I see when they're acceptable. It's just an awful trend.

I wear leggings as pants. :shifty
    but only with long tops.

and I do actually see the sense in them. Jeggings are more comfortable than jeans, they're more flexible too. And they do look very much like jeans if you have them the right length. So it saves you the trouble of actually wearing jeans. Plus they're cheaper.
But yeah, they're not easy to pull off.

    That's kind of...weird...

They're a lot like skinny jeans then. You might as well just wear skinny jeans to look like you're wearing actual pants, instead of confusing everyone. :XD
