So have you ever read a book and theres one character in it that you just really like. For any reason at all you just really like them. So below name some of your favorite book characters, say what book there from, and why there your favorite. Thanks = D

ps. I dont think theres a thread like this but if there is feel free to close this one.

My favorite character right now is Phineas from John Knowles book "A Separate Peace." I dont know exactly why I like him, I guess its cause he's such a sweety, he has a good personality, and DAMN does that boy sound FINE. lol

For me it's Calo & Galdo Sanza from "The Lies of Locke Lamora" by Scott Lynch. They are so handsome and witty In Love
I can't wait to read some more about them in book three. It can't come soon enough.

Oh, my gosh. That book is PHENOMENAL. Probably one of the best books I've ever read--or ever will read--in my entire life. Wow. And yes, Finny is rather gorgeous. :D He's definitely on my list of favorite characters of all time.

I've got tons, but one character that has stuck with me is Perry Miller from L.M. Montgomery's Emily series. He was just so in-your-face, I had to fall in love with him. Montgomery was a beast, too. She could make anything sound beautiful, or anyone. <3

my favourite characters are Dally from The Outsiders by S.E.Hinton, just because...i actually don't know what it is about him, i just love him. :)
and Phillip Lombard and Vera Claythorne from And Then There Were None by Agatha Christie. Lombard because the things he said just made him my favourite, and he seemed really...real, i guess. And Vera because i love when she freaks out in the book, haha. :P

Dexter Jones in This Lullaby. I love his determination to get with Remy, and he's a really refreshing character, I think. At first I thought he'd be the cliche band guy all the girls love, but it's not like that at all. He set his sights on Remy and never gave up and that's what I loved about him.

Jason Freeman and Adam Turnball in the Vampire Beach series. The pair of them work so well as friends, they like bounce off one another, but not in an annoying way. Jason annoys me at times, because of how hung up he is on Sienna, but I still like him. They're two characters you can't hate.

Jonas Carrey from the mermaid series by Mary Janice Davidson. Even though these books aren't complete doom and gloom, and aren't really serious at all, I always find Jonas brings much light relief on a lot of the situations within the story. I really like his character, he's so out there.

Frank from The Wasp Factory by Iain Banks. Weird choice I guess, but I really like the way s/he thinks and talks. Even if he kills small mammals and drowns wasps in his own piss.

Sick Boy/Simon - Trainspotting by Irvine Welsh.

Alex from A Clockwork Orange. I named my rat after him XD

Kim from Sugar Rush, even though she's so clingy and a bit whingy.

Lloyd - Ecstasy by Irvine Welsh. I felt a bit sorry for him as the book went on.

And Humbert Humbert from Lolita. :x He's such a warped character and with the way the book's written and the way he puts things, you find yourself being manipulated (?) almost to see things from his point of view as you read on. Sort of.
