Idk if people would agree with these but:

    Cloverfield
    District 9
    Devil
    Dead Silence
    Insidious
    Spun
It's Kind Of A Funny Story

    I know there's more but I can't think of them :)

    Captain America.
The Superman movie with Kate Bosworth and James Marsden.
Iron Man. (Wouldn't watch it for two years 'cause I thought I'd hate it.)

    Judge Dredd :P

It's EXTREMELY graphic and I probably would've puked had I eaten a larger meal before going to the the theater, but it was pretty rad in a cosmic way.

Also Hannah's Gold and The Forger turned out to be pretty cool too :)

The Perks of Being a Wallflower. I was expecting it to be terrible (the book is one of my all time favourites), but it was actually pretty decent. Emma Watson was awful as Sam, but the rest of the cast were pretty solid.

I totally thought I'd end up hating Catching Fire because I honestly did not enjoy Hunger Games, but it was actually pretty good! Same goes for the Percy Jackson sequel.

^And Pacific Rim. I'm not really into sci-fi's, so I was surprised I ended up liking it a lot.

Pacific Rim was surprisingly good. I never thought that I'd like it at first because it looked like a mash-up of Real Steel and Iron Man.

    X-Men First Class.

I watched it for the first time last week and I was expecting it to be good, but it ended up being my favorite out of all of them and heads and tails above the rest, in my opinion. The ambiguous shades of gray woven through the story and characters were among the best I've seen in a blockbuster film.

    Frozen.

The trailer didn't look that good to me, but I ended up falling in love with it. It doesn't beat "Tangled", but it was definitely worth watching.

    Takers.

Chris Brown was in it, so I was like "eehhh..." but then Michael Ealy, Idris Elba, and Zoe Saldana all made up for his presence in boatloads and I ended up liking it a lot.

I didn't expect them to be bad, per se, but because I really dislike Jennifer Lawrence I expected to dislike both of the Hunger Games films. I wound up liking both a lot, especially Catching Fire.

Also, Spring Breakers. I didn't expect it to be anything like it was. What a shocker.

Thor 2. I saw the first Thor and thought it was okay (give it a 6/10) because most of the scenes were to dark and I couldn't see anything.
But I LOVED Thor 2. It was super funny, full of action and all around very good. I would give it a 9.5/10. (Not giving it a 10 because of the cliff-hanger ending, even though it was amazing!!!)
