I think it would be a wonderful idea if there were Mibba shirts out for fans and user of this site, don't you think? I'd definitely buy one and wear it loud and proud. It would also help promote the site in the process. Does anyone agree or disagree?

I don't really like this. I mean, I just think it'll make Mibba go so..main stream?
Maybe it's just me who thinks that.

    ^ I agree too. :/
PLUS, it would start up a whole "you're not a true Mibbian unless you wear your Mibba shirt every day!" thing... :/

    Yeah.

Plus, I could see kids (bullies) starting crap with other kids.

Like, I know at my school, some people think it's weird that I read / write, and I could see some people starting rumors and arguments and things like that. :/

I like it, but I would be afraid to wear mine because I don't want any of my IRL friends to know about Mibba. XD

I agree with this. Same goes for me.

The reason sites have merchandise is to make money really. I didn't really think that is Dujo's intention for Mibba. I heard all the money from the ads go to pay for hosting.

Besides, there would be a lot of effort involved. Setting up the business, designing the merchandise, organizing someone to do the shipping etc.

If Dujo wanted Mibba Merchandise, I think we'd already have it. Shifty

Wow. I guess I don't see this in the same light as everyone else.

I think merchandise would be a good way to promote the site - user made or for profit. I promote mibba on any other social sites I'm on. And every time I make a new banner for a story, I'll include the text "only on mibba.com" or maybe just "mibba.com". Of course, this benefits ME because I write here. But wouldn't promoting the site benefit all of us? Isn't growth a good thing? Just a thought here.

But I get what Devi_V was saying. Her enthusiasm is refreshing, actually.

Why does everyone always look for negatives in every suggestion? So what if it makes Mibba more popular, why would that be a bad thing? And I doubt the majority of the site would order a shirt or whatever anyways, so I don't see others uers being mocked for not having one.

I think it woud be fun, although you could make your own Mibba shirt if you wanted to already.

Eh, just sounds kinda tacky to me. Reminds me of those t-shirts that have "I'm Myspace famous" written on them. The famous part isn't the same as what's being suggested, but I personally would never buy a t-shirt that's promoting a website.

This sounds like Deviant Art's merchandise thing. :O

Oh, darn. Merchandise would be a cool side thing, but no one should worry too much about it. What's the big deal? If there's anyone who wouldn't buy it, then just don't. In the end, it's just a fun idea to show the world how awesome we are for being on Mibba. Haha! x]

It'd be pretty cool if they could be made available outside the US, too. :3

    I'd buy it.

I'd love to make really obscure reference t-shirts about Mibba...like...

    "Dujo: Administrator of the Universe."

    or...

"When all else fails, use the : :cheese:"

    or...

"When life gives you lemons, confess about it."

    tehe

I could write a million of them. XD
