I have an iphone and an itouch, I've also worked with a blackberry and an ipad -- mibba works fine for me on the browser. I think it would be silly to make an app. There aren't enough pros for it.

How many users have an android, iphone and itouch?
How many users actually plan to use the app to write and publish?
Will an amount of people use it to outweigh the time it's going to take to make this?

I saw a few journal entries a while back and another post about this, it seems that really the idea of wanting an app is so there is a way to save work written on a phone or ipod and have easy access to it. Iphones, Itouches and Android each have a feature on their notepad that send your notes straight to your e-mail.

I also think that making an app would make Mibbs less...special. We're not overflowing with people, we have a large amount but it's not hundreds of thousands into millions like Twitter or Facebooks or Tumblr. Making an app would bring in more people -- great -- but then we get that overflow again and I personally like the homey feel.

I thought the same thing a few months ago. It's hard to post on the internet with a iPod, iPhone, and Android. I think it'd help out Mibba a lot. It would make Mibba the number on creative writing site, in stead of Wattpad. I think that'd why it's known so well because there's an app for it. I may have said something someone else has said, didn't read much of the comments.

I don't really see the need for it when we have mobile mibba now.

Yes you can use Safari to go on Mibba, but on Safari you can't like upload pictures for your stories, most apps you can do that.
So I would use the app, it's be easier...

I would appreciate this. It would make coming to the site much easier for those of us who have a smart phone. We would be able to post more and comment more as well

I have to sadly agree to that statement. Although I would love it if they created an app for Mibba, It would take months. But if you do want an app that lets you read stories without internet access, Then i suggest you try Wattpad.

I know that it takes a lot of time and money to create an app, but with the growing number of people owning smartphones, tablets, etc, (as well as the always growing number of Mibba users) I think it could be beneficial. For now, however, it helps (on apple devices) to go to your Mibba page then save it to your home screen. It looks like an app icon on the screen, but it just takes you to the site through safari.

Mobile mibba is great and everything, but its a challenge for me.
Sometimes I accidentally press full site, causing my cell internet to crash, and since mibba is my homepage, it means I can't access my internet on my phone for twenty four hours or more.

It's incredibly difficult for me to save drafts on mobile. Which is intense because I usually write on my mobile. And if mibba crashes like it does a lot of the time, I lose everything.

But, if an app were to happen, please don't just make it for apple products. My last apple product smashed into pieces and I prefer android anyways.

    This was just my input.

I would absolutely love to be able to have a Mibba App on my Android phone or Kindle fire. Would I write on it? Probably not. But I could check my messages, the forum, comments, etc. and that would be great. I'd definitely be more active on Mibba, considering I don't get as much time with my computer anymore.

I like this idea. It's so hard to use my phone on mobile version. I have an android and the words are so tiny!

I don't think an app is totally necessary but a better mobile version would be nice. The mobile version (on my iPod and Android phone) doesn't work the best. Things like pictures don't always load, it's hard to edit stories and work on the forums and if you accidentally click full site you're screwed because then the internet overloads and shuts down.

I think before the app, Dujo needs to tweak the mobile site to make it more mobile friendly. Once that happens we should check out the idea of an app.

Someone pointed out app's crashing. computers crash too and you could end up with an unsaved story that you lost and you're just mad about that.

I think an app could be useful but not for writing stories. If phones and ipods didn't crash so much I think an app would be very sufficient for mibba.

I'd like an app but honestly I just added the page to my iphone home screen and use it just like an app, it's the same thing bacsically.

I wouldn't mind seeing one but honestly, i'm not fussed.

Hi, I know this post was a while ago, but I just felt I had to comment. I've been searching for a Mibba app for months now and I never get lucky. I would love it if I could keep track of my stories and update from my phone while I'm on the road or if my computer is down. Also, the Fanfiction app that they do offer is just terrible and demands an update. What could we do about getting an app for Mibba?

I know A LOT of mibba users own an android/iPhone/smartphone/iPod & such. I realize the time it would take to make an app for mibba. I just think it would be more efficient for mibba in the long run

I would use a Mibba app but I don't pay for internet on my HTC so I have to use Wifi, but my sister has the wattpad app and she can download the stories and read them through the app on her kindle when she doesn't have internet? Idk I think that would be better so that if you know you're not going to have internet you can just download the stories and be prepared haha
I use the mobile site atm but I only ever use it really when I'm at college on the wifi because when I'm at home I may as well use the laptop eh

I think a mibba app would be nice because I could get notified right away on my phone instead of my email when I get notifications. With wattpad's app it alerts me right away and I think it would traffic in a lot more users to the site since it would must likely show up right next to Wattpad's app in the apple store that's viewed almost everyday. But I also agree it would be time consuming for whoever did it but it would be very nice.
