Role-Playing Rules

• Each role-play should only have ONE thread.
• RPs are NOT locked after 200 pages, but inactive RPs will be deleted.
• Similar threads ARE ALLOWED to co-exists. (Meaning, if one group has already started a vampire coven thread, another group CAN still start another vampire coven.)
• Pictures cannot exceed 100x100 pixels in size. If your Role-Playing thread includes character pictures (that are being posted as the role-play moves along), the size of the picture being used cannot be any bigger than 100x100 pixels.

  *If you need help with resizing your photos, there’s a thread for that.

Also, if you've started a thread and it doesn't work out or your RP comes to an end, please report the thread to a board mod so it can be locked and then deleted.

Here’s just a list of things I think other RPers would appreciate (from the complaints noticed around the site).

Things that should be included in the RPs first post:

• A clear and concise overview of what the RP will be about.
• A clear list of who (both the character name and the member’s name) is involved in the RP.
• A mention of what kind of RP it will be – whether it’s an RP where short and small responses are acceptable or if it’s an RP that requires paragraph-like responses.
• The rating of the RP.

If you have an ongoing role-play that you need to co-plan with your fellow RP mods, you are more than welcome to create a thread to do so following these guidelines:

• All planning threads need to be posted in the Group Written Stories forum.
• To create a planning thread, a role-play must have three or more acting mods before posting a thread.

Remember that it’s up you to moderate your own RPs, to make sure that the players involved follow the rules you set up.

This and this are the same RP, right? You're only allowed ONE thread per RP. You can't have one actual RP and one for registration.

Okay, so I've gone through the forum and locked all the duplicate(registration/sign-up) threads. They'll stay up through the weekend (so that you will have time to gather and save any info you may want to keep) and then they'll be deleted on Monday (It's Wednesday for me now, so that's in five days).

Just a heads up.

Though any new duplicate(registrations) that pop up will be deleted immediately.
