So... this may not be the thread to ask this in... but I'm thinking of taking RP to the next level. Instead posting a zillion posts on a thread and people having to weed through them. Have people sign up then once the max amount of people have signed make them all authors and make the RP a story. Is that stupid and/or against Mibba policy?
    Think
I actually like that idea. XD
But some people may not have the time to write a chapter.
    Like myself.

I took that into consideration. The chapter can be any length. There is no rule for chapter length. Very Happy

In a way that is already in motion, not on this site but certainly on others.Such as Proboards sites/ Invisionfree just to name the two that I know there are probably loads more out there.

I used to be on them and they were very good, they had highs and lows, you could more fully develop characters but for now i prefer this rp because it's quicker and simpler.

Rp is basically a story with several authors, you never really know what the other person will do but then if you start planning things as you'd have to with a story it kinda takes somethign out of it until you're struggling to think of dramatic plotlines to put the characters through. Though maybe this was just with my characters i'm not too sure.

I also thought about that too. I guess my question is, is there a length rule for RP? I like to write alot and I don't someone yelling at me... so what's the sentence limit?

You know what... I really want to write a story based on a RP.
There's been quite a few in the past that I've desperately wanted to continue even after the thread died.

    XD

So, hell... if anyone wants to write a huge collaborative roleplay of a story then message me.
    lmfao

Awesome! Maybe we should put up a thread and find some others who will do it too!

Ok, so it's agreed that I will make a thread and have a RP based story. Once all authors are in place we'll move over the Stories on our mibba page. I don't think I want a huge amount of authors because it could get a little hectic. So what are some ideas for a RP based story?

    Regarding the new rule:

Could be please, please change it to 200x200? I understand the bandwidth usage, and that some people find the images annoying, but the truth is, 100x100 is very small.

I think 200x200 would be a reasonable compromise.

Yeah, 100x100 is way to tiny.

^ But our ava are 60x60. And some people are still arguing for no pics in rp at all. I'd reformat all mine to 100x100 rather than go without.

Yes, I agree, 100x100 is better than none at all. And if those are my only two choices, then I chose 100x100.
It's still very small though. For an ava, it works, but for an actual image where you're trying to illustrate what someone looks like, it's a bit troublesome. Keep in mind, all of us aren't skilled at cropping or shrinking images. Making things 100x100 and still keeping it good quality is hard.

^ Indeed. My only issue is the fact that resizing is difficult without a proper photoshopping programme (at least in my opinion it is).
Otherwise I wouldn't really mind at all.

Yeah, same, really. I don't have programmes to resize properly, it'll be a pain in the rear end for me to have 100x100 pictures.

You don't have to re-do the past photos, just the ones you're posting now. If you need to resize a photo. You can use tinypic.com or photobucket.com or simply use your computer's default image program (I think that's either Paint or Picture Manager on Windows). Whichever website you're hosting the images on (I know you're hosting it on something, since you're using the IMG code to post them on the RPs to start with), has an editing tool in which you can use to resize the photo.
