My favorites are a tie between 'Save Rock and Roll' and 'Alone Together'. I love Elton John and I have since seventh grade. I love hearing him sing with Patrick and no matter how many times I listen to it, I still get surprised when I hear him start the second chorus.

I love everything about 'Alone Together'. Lyrics, sound, style. It's just fucking perfect.

I was counting on the Almost record to get me through this last quarter of school and then it got pushed back to June and I was sad so I got Save Rock and Roll and loved it.

I am so devastated right now. I bought a ticket to see them in Phoenix on June 11 and I can no longer go because my ride completely bailed on me and I have no way of getting there. To top it all off, I can't get a refund for my ticket because the ticket service my venue used does not allow for refunds. I had been wanting to see them since I was 11 years old and I cried tears of joy when I bought my ticket and now that I can no longer go I am seriously heartbroken. Plus, I just wasted 50 bucks thinking I would be able to go. Sad

GA is still available for my show, so I might go. I'll have to go to Colorado, but Brian and I will be owed a vacation in September, I'm sure.

Dude, my sister is going to a concert in SEPTEMBER! Do you know how jealous I am of her? I will be crying my eyes out as she and my mother get in the car and drive away without me. Cry

What are the Youngblood Chronicles? Do they take long to watch?

Edit: Okay, I just started watching them (I'm up to The Phoenix) and what the heck? Shocked

Edit (again): What significance do they have with the actual songs / FOB?

Edit (last one I promise): The only explanation that I can come up with is that they are somehow hyped up on drugs. And I think the stereo has something to do with it.

I need to watch the newest YBC, but I know what happens 'cause of Tumblr. My friends come over and we watch them on my laptop because they're so twisted and interesting and weird. It's not really my thing though, to be quite honest. I think it's wildly unique, I just don't like slasher gore things.

    @ sheepcat;
Well, there's definitely something going on with pretty much every stereo and Patrick ever since he was brainwashed (or whatever the hell was done to him) into being evil (or well, part-time evil.) There seems to be some sort of frequency or sound or something that sets him off.

    @ close dru's eyes.
Well, yes, if you don't like that sort of thing I guess that would make the series less enjoyable. The videos are definitely "twisted and interesting and weird" though. I dunno I'm just way into them; the whole series is just badass and I can't wait to find out what happens next with every installment.

(AND ESPECIALLY AFTER THE LAST ONE OMG Crazy)

I don't know how he became brainwashed. My laptop was skipping parts and lagging. He had his hand chopped off and well yeah. That's the only thing I know happened. I think it's a frequency, because everything sounded funny after Foxes' eyes turned black and she turned on the radio.

I love Pete's scene though, with the bird leaping off his arm. It's beautiful. I really didn't like the 'feast' that they had - ew. And the snake gives me the creeps - especially when Pete (I think) threw it up.

Returning to an earlier question, does this have any significance with FOB or attached meaning, or is it all just for fun?

I think it's just for fun. It's sort of an epic story to go with the album, and an excuse to make badass music videos for every song.

I read somewhere that they were supposed be feasting on Patrick's insides?? Shocked Yak But that article never explained that claim so I may just pretend I never read it. Shifty

I thought it was really cool when he threw up the snakes, but maybe I'm just weird. XD

Have you seen all of the videos then?

Fair enough then, and yeah, I'm up to date. They're lovely videos - although Where Did the Party Go? was a little bit... Odd.

Oh, ew. Did not just read that.

It was cool, but I have a phobia of snakes. I'm slowly getting over it but snake close ups aren't exactly my cup of tea.

"Where Did the Party Go?" was really badass but it was for real possibly the weirdest one yet and it made my feels go all over the place in a way I was totally unprepared for (considering the first time I watched it was muted at work. XD)

And yeah, I read it somewhere else, but I STILL HAVE NO EXPLANATION SO Question Yak

Oh, totally, if you're phobic of snakes then that might well be a problem. I'm not unless I think they are venomous and close to me, so it didn't bother me at all.
