A Random Button.

Okay. There are a ton of stories on Mibba to choose from to read, and sometimes you just have no idea what you want to read. Well, this at least happens to me all the time. So I was thinking that maybe there could be some sort of button that you could click on the stories page that would direct you to a randomly selected story. Kind of like the one Quizilla did/has. Just a thought though..I always have soo much trouble choosing a story...

Maybe there could be a little box where you could type in one or two words and it'll bring up a random story. (For example, you could type in "ghost" or "love" or something like that). If it comes to a story you don't seem interested in, you could hit the button again and it would bring up another story in the field you're looking for, or if not you could type in something different.

Or while searching, we could have an "I'm Feeling Lucky" button that goes to a random story containing the tag.

I'm pretty sure it's been suggested and confirmed as arriving with New Mibba.

Cool idea! I don't know if this would be possible, but it would be really good if the website (Mibba) could kind of remember what kind of stories you usually read, (a bit like on YouTube where it comes up with videos recommended for you to watch based on what you usually watch) then when you click on the random story button it will come up with stories similar to the ones you usually read.
So, good idea, or not?

That would give stories that have not had a chance to shine, to get back out there.

Maybe everytime you press the button, it could take you somewhere different: maybe a profile, a story, a poem.

And there maybe could be a control where you can tell it what to do, like send you to only stories perhaps, or profiles. (Does that make sense?)

It would be really good, because you might end up reading a story you wouldn't normally read, and broaden your horizens. I myself have gotten really picky about what I read lately, so maybe a random button might just be the cure.
