The Best Horror Movies Known to Human Kind!

Okay! This upcoming Saturday is my birthay! Im having a horror movie marathon!

I need ideas people! So name the best suspence OMG makes you wanna pee your pants horror movies you have ever seen! Examples of what Im looking for: The exorsist, haunting in conneticuit, the unborn, ect.

Please dont give me ones like Saw and other pointless gore movies!!!

My Bloody Valentine (2009 Remake). That movie scared the shit out of me.

CABIN FEVER, definitely. I must warn you that it has a lot of gore and a couple sex scenes, but it's still the best.

Seven. It's not really a horror movie, it's more of a killer movie, but it's still good and psychologically scary.

The first Resident Evil movie. The sequels are dumb.

30 Days of Night is one of the best vampire movies I have ever seen, but it's also very gorey. Josh Hartnett is rather hot in it though

The Glass House if you're not into the gore.

And in my opinion, Saw is one of the "best horror movies known to human kind" not because of the gore, but because of the psychological aspect to it. You're not going to find a good scary horror movie without gore.

It's probably much for frightening in 3D. I saw it in it's regular format, and it was still a scary movie.

Yeah I liked it to, but I wasnt sure if the 3D made a difference

Orphan is absolutely brilliant. Whoever thought up the twist at the end is a genius.

The Ring and The Ring Two are also good. They really play with your mind.

The Hamiltons isn't a horror film as such, but it's good fun and creepy at the same time. I don't really know how to describe it...you'd have to see the trailer or something.

Paranormal Activity. I saw it back in November and... I still get afraid at night in bed.

The best horror movies don't have gore. Ghosts ftw.

Or anything old and classic.
I mean, they may not have the effects of today, but the acting is often better and so are the stories.

I really enjoyed the movies Ju-on and Ju-on 2. They were really scary.
Asian horror movies are always really scary horror movies.

Lake Mungo. It's an Australian Movie based on a true story with real footage. It scared the shit out of my and my Friends Mother, and she's a Horror Movie Fanatic.

The Evil Dead movies.

[REC] and its sequel. Unless you really despise subtitles.
Funny Games. haha I still get creeped out thinking about it.

(Some not-as-scary-but-absolutely-brilliant horror films I would also strongly recommend are the Scream series (it's a classic, and also not very serious, and it's a good laugh. A parody of the genre, pretty much.) and the Saw series. (Because: BRILLIANT STORYTELLING))
