Arachnophobia - Fear of Spiders. I can't even look at a picture of a spider without going into panic. If there's a spider anywhere near me, I will leave the room or avoid it at all costs.
Dentophobia - Fear of Dentists. I've had this fear since I was three. I get the most horrible fear over them. I always feel as though I can't escape once I'm inside of a doctor's office. At the age of three, I was so scared that they couldn't get my mouth open. I had to go to another dentist. Now that I'm older, it's harder to find dentists that fit the needs of my fears and disabilities. I have to be put to sleep for them to even try to do anything in my mouth.
Aichmophobia - Fear of needles. I will literally go into panic at the mere MENTION of needles, especially IVs. I had my recent meltdown at a hospital and ended up having to walk out because I was panicking so bad that I was literally screaming in terror.
Nosocomephobia - Fear of Hospitals. I get very panicky about them because I've had bad experiences at them. When you're autistic, but have the ability to speak, you'd understand. I also panic because I don't know what they are going to do what to expect. My heart starts racing and I become short of breath.
Unknown name - Fear of Ovens. I don't mind going near them, but I refuse to cook or do anything involving them. I have this fear of getting burned or something. I don't really know what it is about them.
Astraphobia - Fear of thunder. I've always had this fear for as long as I could remember. People always wonder how I can be afraid of it too. But it's because of the rate of the sound it makes, Sometimes it's loud, other times it's soft. It causes me to panic because I never know when it will just go BOOM.
Unknown name - Fear of Fire trucks/sirens. I don't like them. Period. I get panicky around fire trucks because I don't know when they are going to have an emergency and have to turn on their sirens. So it causes me to panic if they are in the area.
I have more fears... but I can't think of them all. I think most of it comes from bad experience or something because of my autism as well. People with Autism are known to have strange fears or irrational fears that can cause terror. ^^
