Arachnophobia - Fear of Spiders. I can't even look at a picture of a spider without going into panic. If there's a spider anywhere near me, I will leave the room or avoid it at all costs.

Dentophobia - Fear of Dentists. I've had this fear since I was three. I get the most horrible fear over them. I always feel as though I can't escape once I'm inside of a doctor's office. At the age of three, I was so scared that they couldn't get my mouth open. I had to go to another dentist. Now that I'm older, it's harder to find dentists that fit the needs of my fears and disabilities. I have to be put to sleep for them to even try to do anything in my mouth.

Aichmophobia - Fear of needles. I will literally go into panic at the mere MENTION of needles, especially IVs. I had my recent meltdown at a hospital and ended up having to walk out because I was panicking so bad that I was literally screaming in terror.

Nosocomephobia - Fear of Hospitals. I get very panicky about them because I've had bad experiences at them. When you're autistic, but have the ability to speak, you'd understand. I also panic because I don't know what they are going to do what to expect. My heart starts racing and I become short of breath.

Unknown name - Fear of Ovens. I don't mind going near them, but I refuse to cook or do anything involving them. I have this fear of getting burned or something. I don't really know what it is about them.

Astraphobia - Fear of thunder. I've always had this fear for as long as I could remember. People always wonder how I can be afraid of it too. But it's because of the rate of the sound it makes, Sometimes it's loud, other times it's soft. It causes me to panic because I never know when it will just go BOOM.

Unknown name - Fear of Fire trucks/sirens. I don't like them. Period. I get panicky around fire trucks because I don't know when they are going to have an emergency and have to turn on their sirens. So it causes me to panic if they are in the area.

I have more fears... but I can't think of them all. I think most of it comes from bad experience or something because of my autism as well. People with Autism are known to have strange fears or irrational fears that can cause terror. ^^

    Twenty year old female.

Acrophobia, fear of heights: When I was a kid, I wasn't afraid of heights and I think it's because I was so young I didn't fully understand how high up I was and the dangers of it. When I finally did start understanding: the phobia came on very quickly. I always wanted to be taller in my youth so I could be a star basketball player on the girls team or something but now, I'm glad I'm just about 5'6", that's tall enough for me, LOL!

Arachnophobia, fear of spiders: I've had a fear of spiders my entire life. I'm sure part of it comes from the fact that my Mother is afraid of them, too. When I was a kid, I'm certain I probably saw her wigging out at a spider and ever since, I have to wig out as well. My Dad isn't afraid of them. He's my protector when it comes to spiders. Of course, he prefers not to kill them as he believes the ones that aren't poisonous are good for us..since they kill the flies and mosquitoes.

Aviophobia, fear of flying: This goes along with a fear of heights...but I do have a fear of planes, as well. I think they're very unsafe.

Claustrophobia, fear of having no escape and being closed in: This one should speak for itself. I think we all have Claustrophobia to a certain degree.

Emetophobia, fear of vomiting: My Dad and I both share this phobia. We will do e v e r y t h i n g in our power not to throw up. We will make ourselves miserable by not throwing up when we've got a stomach bug. We know, that sometimes if you just throw it on up, you'll feel better faster...but we hate it. We hate throwing up. So we'll lay around and be even more miserable by trying not to puke...

Gephyrophobia, fear of bridges: I have this to a certain extent. I've only found one bridge I'm truly afraid of and that's the Spottsville Bridge in Henderson County, Kentucky. All other bridges, I've been okay with to date...but that one...I just hate it. I'm afraid of it.

Sociophobia, fear of people or social situations: I've had this my entire life. I've been trying to grow out of it as I get older but... I definitely have social anxiety like crazy 99% of the time. It's limited me from doing a lot of things in twenty years.

Thanatophobia, fear of dying: I didn't used to have this when I was younger.. 11 and younger. But now...for the last nine years, you bet your sweet arse I'm afraid to die. :(

Tokophobia, fear of pregnancy or childbirth: Yep. Have that, too.

Arachnophobia -Extreme or irrational fear of spiders.
I will completely freak out if I spot one, I'll actually have a panic attack if it crawls towards me or lands on me in someway. After spotting it I always feel like somethings crawling on me.

Entomophobia - is a common fear of or aversion to insects and similar arthropods, and even other terres bugs.
I guess it's more appropriate to say I have entomophobia instead of including arachnophobia as well. I cannot, emotionally, handle insects. People think it's funny when I'm near tears because, "they are so small and you are so big" but it isn't funny. It's completely horrifying, they don't have to deal with the rapid heartbeat or the shouting voices. After a panic attack I attempt to make jokes about it, but the simple fact is I am utterly terrified by any and all insects, yes that means butterflies, mothers, ladybugs, and lightning bugs, too. If I see them before then I'm not so bad, but if they appear out of nowhereland, then I freak out.

    Thanatophobia - fear of dying
I admit I have my suicidal tendencies, but the fear of being dead or dying is utterly horrifying. Mainly because what will happen after words, I don't want to not to go to heaven, I don't want to not be able to see my family again. That's one thing that keeps me going because I just don't know what will happen. I don't want to just disappear.

    Hadephobia - fear of hell
This goes with my thanatophobia, after all of the documentaries that I've watched, all of the movies that revolve around hell, out of all the books centered around what happens in hell, all the stories my grandmother would tell me, or the things I've heard in church. I just can't. I think the worst thing I ever heard was that hell wasn't a place, but a kind of stomach and you spend an eternity being chewed up over and over. Even talking about this is making me physically ill and giving me the jitters. :/ People think I'm over exaggerating but bleh.

Acrophobia. I can't stand on a chair without my chest going tight and immediately wanting to get down and once I stood on an average sized English dictionary and thought 'Whoa there, getting a little dangerous.' Facepalm It's really horrible.

Arachnophobia - The fear of spiders.
Aquaphobia - The persistent and abnormal fear of water.
Thalassophobia - The intense fear of the ocean or other large bodies of water.
Trypophobia - fear of clustered holes

I can kill small spiders but large spiders make me a quivering mess...Water just freaks me out. I refuse to go swimming and people love to make fun of me for it. I get really extreme anxiety if I have to go in a pool or something and it sucks. I almost drowned as a baby so I think that's probably why I hate water so much.
The fear of clustered holes makes people laugh too but OH MY GOD just thinking about it makes my skin crawl and it makes me dizzy. I can't look at that crap (thinking about it is making me panic, I have to stop omg)

*enter fancy name here* -The fear of feet.

I know, really strange but just thinking about those things make my skin crawl. Why are they so weird? And then the toes are just weird and hideous. Its okay when they're covered but seeing, touching, smelling, or looking at feet close ups make me all nervous and anxious to get out of the room. Ironically enough I hate shoes too, so socks are the best things ever.

    Ophidiophobia - Fear of snakes.
Don't ask me but I'm even afraid of snakes in cartoons and I don't understand it because I petted a snake once and I thought it was cute... Do you know how bad it is when I want to watch Harry Potter and whenever I see a snake I start to panic and when I close my eyes, I still can see the snake and it appears every time I close my eyes. Ugh, I hate it!

    Batrachophobia - Fear of amphibians.
My fear of amphibians started when a gecko fell on top of me. It was probably one of the most disturbing experiences in my life. I think it started to develop into a phobia when another gecko fell on top of me. I screamed really loudly, scaring everyone around me. A few days ago another gecko jumped into my arms. Needless to say I don't even want to look at pictures of geckos or even imagine them. My fear of geckos has also translated into a fear of every animal who looks like a gecko. Ex: snakes, lizards, frogs, etc... I cringe when a gecko gets near me and I have to get away as fast as I can. I know this fear may seem a bit crazy and exaggerated (I've been told that geckos are cute), but it is my biggest fear.

Arachnophobia- The fear of spiders. This is my worst fear. I am so afraid of spiders. It started when I was 5. I went into the bathroom (of a hotel) and there was a TON of spiders. I was so scared. Now, if I see one, I generally faint. Most of the time I experience shaking, hyperventilating, and I began to cry before I faint.

Chiraptophobia- Fear of being touched. When someone touches me, I get this horrible feeling, and I feel like I'm going to cry or puke. Most of the time, when someone is near me, I back up. Most of the time if someone is reaching out to touch me, I began to shake and I dodge them.

lilapsophobia- fear of tornados. I've had this ever sense I was about 8. I'm afraid that a tornado is going to knock down my house, my belongings and kill my family. It just scares me. I really have no idea how I got this fear.

Apiphobia- fear of bees. I think when my dad told me bees could sting, and some people had allergic reactions, I got afraid. I'm afraid that if a bee stings me, that I will have a huge allergic reaction, and die.

Coulrophobia- Fear of clowns. When I was little, I went to my friend's birthday party. They had a lot of clowns there, and I thought they were a little scary, not like a huge fear. Well, I guess one of the clowns thought it would be funny if he put the birthday boy in a cellar (yes, there was a cellar nearby) and be like, "where's the birthday boy?". Well, when he did that, nobody knew where he was. The clown guy had to leave because of a "family emergency" before the cops got called. They found him, but ever since I've been so afraid of clowns. Whenever I see one, I begin to shake and I find myself on edge, like I'm about to run. If one got close to me, I'm pretty sure I'd puke.

Enissophobia- fear of criticism.I just am afraid people are going to laugh at me. Or say rude stuff. Sometimes it's hard for me to update story chapters because of this.

Sleeping in the same bed as someone else. It is my personal space and goddamnit I can't take it. My boyfriend may be the one exception but we've never slept next to each other, only cuddled, but I've been able to take that.

Also anyone who touches my neck. Please, no.

    Arachnophobia — Fear of spiders

I think this is self-explanatory... But good lord almighty, my chest gets tight just at the thought that I'm near a spider or that a spider could be crawling on me. Nope. Not okay. Nope. It gets especially worse at night because the corner of my bed is notorious for those damned eight-legged creatures. Oh, and it's been proven that I jump fifty feet in the air when there's one crawling near me.

    • Ophidiophobia: Fear of snakes. Like...extreme and unreasonable. The very sight of one (be it on TV, in a magazine, Instagram/Facebook picture) makes me want to cry. For instance, I was laying in bed reading CNN this morning, as I do every morning- and there was an article about an escaped white cobra. I COULDN'T GET OUT OF BED FOR 45 MINUTES FOR THE SHEER FACT I COULDN'T PUT MY FEET ON THE GROUND. As a kid I had a cousin with a rubber 8ft (obviously) fake black mamba. I woke up and he had curled it up on me and I woke up with it'a fake tongue brushing over my chin and -just thinking about it gives me the creep crawlies and makes me want to cry- well...there goes aother 45 minutes with my feet elevated. Facepalm
    • I also have this really random, and unreasonable fear (and I have yet to find a name for it)- I have this fear of, like...when I have to be somewhere, I'll oversleep/traffic will be bad/ some way to make me late. I had jury duty a few months back and I swear I didn't sleep AT ALL the night before, I was afraid I would be late and they would throw me in jail. Or like when I had my job interview- I live 17 minutes from the building, I left an hour early and got there so early I sat in my car like a creeper for almost 30 minutes.

Hemophobia: the fear of blood. I am super, super squeamish. If anyone even starts talking about blood or injuries, I have trouble breathing and I can't move because I feel like what they're talking about is actually happening to me. It's awful.
Agoraphobia: fear of wide open spaces. It makes me really uncomfortable and nervous.

Arachnophobia - fear of spiders: I've always been afraid of spiders and I can't stay or sleep in my room if there's one in it. I have to get rid of it first, in one way or another. But slowly I am trying to get over this fear, but without any great success.

Enochlophobia - fear of crowds: I think I kind of have this. I can handle crowds easily, depending on where I am. At festivals, concerts, football games and such I handle crowds good but at small places such as trains and buses I get a bit of anxiety when there's too many people.

I can't really find the name of my last phobia - fear of falling: When I was a kid I dreamed about falling from my granparents stairs, and ever since I've had a fear of falling. I'm a little afraid of heights, but I think it's the thought that I can fall from high places that scares me the most. I can't jump down from playgrounds and such like my friends because I'm scared and I often dream that I fall. Urgh, I hate it.

Lilapsophobia - Fear of Tornadoes and Hurricanes
Specifically Tornadoes. I live just outside of Tornado Alley and we get them just north of my city. Every time there's a huge thunderstorm I can't sleep and can barely function because I'm so afraid there's going to be a tornado. I don't watch movies with tornadoes in them. I will never, ever see Into The Storm. I got nervous watching Thor make a tornado in The Avengers. I have other fears but this is my big one.
