    Arachnophobia and claustraphobia.
    There are other fears, but specifically 'phobias' - these are my two.

    Lepidopterophobia - fear of butterflies and similiar insects
    I am perfectly fine with spiders as long as they're little, but I cannot stand butterflies and especially moths. I have no idea when this started, I just remember being about six or seven and a butterfly flew in my hair and wouldn't come out and I was crying and screaming and it wouldn't fly away. They're pretty in art and stuff (I have a pretty butterfly necklace), but in real life they are essentually giant flies with huge flapping wings. Ever seen the episode of Spongebob where they befriend the caterpilar and it transforms and the butterfly flies around and people scream and freak out. That's me.

    Aichmophobia (fear of needles)
    Like MyNameIsBob said, it's not the pain... it's the thought of that long thin stick of metal sliding through my flesh. Can't stand watching it, thinking about it, imagining the feeling...
    Thats pretty much I what I have. I've seen it on T.V. and I absolutely can't stand needles. I get the shivers and I have to look away. Once my mother had to hold me still while the doctor gave me a few shots and that is usually acceptable for a child, but that happened when I was 12. Its horrible, but when I got my flu shot I worked VERY hard to just look away. It might going to effect me in the future since I would like to be a medical doctor when I get older.

    Snakephobia - the fear snakes.
    I can't stand how snakes move. For some reason my brain just screams that its unnatural to me for some odd reason. I can't touch them. I can't look at them. I'm even scared of garden snakes, even though I've been told several times that they won't hurt me. My cousin tried to get me to hold a small garden snake and I screamed and ran away, hiding behind my mom, sobbing my eyes out. Its very hard for me to watch any snakes on the television without shivering, but its not quite as bad as seeing an actual snake.

    I used to also have hydrophobia (fear of water.) it was so bad that I couldn't take a bath without flailing my arms and legs around and screaming, but it got better with age.

    Arachnophobia - fear of spiders.
    Ommetaphobia - fear of eyes. I'm fine with looking people in the eye but I hate anything touching my eyes and I have an irrational fear that something is going to happen to my eyes like they're going to fall out or something.
    Fiend:
    Agoraphobia - Fear of Embarrasment or losing control. Specifically, I have an overwhelming fear of embarrassing myself. I won't knock on someone's door unless they have already invited me into their house (I might have gotten the address wrong...); I won't call a number until that person has called me from that number (what if I put it in wrong?); I think you get the idea.
    ^Exactly that. But really bad.

    aichurophobia - the fear of being touched by pointed objects.
    allodoxaphobia - the fear of other people's opinions.
    apiphobia - the fear of bees.
    kakorrhaphio-phobia - the fear of failure.
    lilapsophobia - the fear of tornadoes or hurricanes.

    i'm sure there are more, but i don't feel like listing them.
    to talk about my phobias, the first has always been a issue. i just can't stand needles or seeing somebody poke themselves with one, other sharp objects such as knives bother me.

    the second might make some of you giggle but the moment i see or hear a bee / hornet / wasp buzzing by me, i panic and run away.

    the third is basically just being afraid of letting people down.

    the forth is the fear of dying in either a tornado or a hurricane. strong winds in general creep me out.

    cyclophobia - the fear of riding a bike or other bike like things. (scooters, dirtbikes, rollerskates ... etc.)

    This is a stupid phobia, I know .. lol. In year eight at camp we had mountian biking, and lets just say, alot of things happened. Ever since, I can't ride a bike or scooter or skateboard or anything like that. I burst into tears and go pale and weak. But I have good friends, and most of them understand I can't do certain things with them =D

    Female. Fifteen.

    Astraphobia or Brontophobia - Fear of thunder and lightning.
    I used to love lightning because my dad would always take me onto the porch so we could watch it during storms. Now I hide under stuff whenever there's a thunderstorm, whether it's a computer table or blankets.

    Aichmophobia or Belonephobia - Fear of needles and pointed objects/pins and needles.
    I can't stand anyone going near me with a sharp object. Last year, my mom had to hold me down when I had to get a shot, and before that, I was supposed to have blood drawn because of my headaches. The farthest the doctor got was tying the tourniquet on my arm. For some reason, I don't mind stabbing myself with pins.

    Chiraptophobia - Fear of being touched. (Slight)
    I can't stand anyone touching me. Even something as simple as a hug will freak me out, so I'll bite whoever touches me. The only time I can deal with it is if I'm the one hugging the person/people.

    Coulrophobia - Fear of clowns.
    I don't like clowns at all; I don't even like seeing pictures of them, ever. Last time I saw one was when I was about five.

    Demophobia - Fear of crowds.
    I can't stand even being in groups of more than three unless it's spaced out, like in a classroom. I try to avoid needing to be in a crowd, usually by attempting to fade into the wall.

    Dentophobia - Fear of dentists.
    I get really anxious when I go to the dentist, and I'm always super-relieved when I leave.

    Glossophobia - Fear of speaking in public.
    Speaking in front of the class is horrible; I try to get it done as soon as I can.

    Hemophobia - Fear of blood.
    I can't even stand small cuts because of this, and I felt really sick when my friend sliced her finger open with a razor blade. Whenever I see blood, I get nauseous.

    Iatrophobia - Fear of going to the doctor or of doctors.
    I feel extremely anxoius, even if I know it's for a short check-up.

    Nosocomephobia - Fear of hospitals.
    I had to go to the hospital last year, and the doctor taking my pulse asked me why it was so high. I'm scared of going to the hospital this summer for surgery, and actually begged my mom to not make me have it.

    Odontophobia - Fear of teeth or dental surgery.
    I need surgery this summer to fix my underbite, and I've begged both my mom and my orthodontist to not make me have it. I get scared even if I think about it for a minute.

    Ophthalmophobia - Fear of being stared at.
    If possible, I always sit in the back corner of a classroom, and I don't talk much or do anything that could draw attention to myself.

    Tomophobia - Fear of surgical operations.
    (See Odontophobia)

    Now that I see what I have above, I seem really messed up.....

    Aichmophobia- fear of needles or sharp objects.
    It makes doctors visits hellish, I avoid anything with small sharp objects but it doesn't effect my life too harshly.

    Agoraphobia- fear of open and or unfamiliar places.
    This does effect my life rather harshly, it's hard for me to go to new places, I get panic attacks and sometimes get sick deppending on how much social interaction is involved. I avoid grocery stores, malls, going anywhere alone.

    Social phobia- fear of social situations, crowds, talking ect.
    This effects me perhaps harsher than agoraphobia; If ever we have company I lock myself in my room, it gives me panic attacks, has made me throw up on multiple occasions. Meeting people, especially going to their house is almost impossible.
    On one occasion my mom started bring me to a church, I threw up all that morning and the entire service I thought I was going to puke, I couldn't make eye contact or anything resembling interaction. I went twice before my mom decided that it wasn't going to help me.

    Aphenphosmphobia- fear of being touched.
    This effects my personal relationships terribly; my mom is the only one who can touch me but even she asks if it's okay and sometimes I can't even stand her.
    I just recently became able to shake someones hand and on rare occasions hug, but I react to it later pretty violently.
    I've never been able to be touched, when I was little I would scream, now I just get panic attacks.

    Also when I was little I had SM which is 'selective mutism' an early onset of social phobia. Its when- usually social situations- you literally can't speak, you momentarily become mute.

    I've already posted, so I don't know if I should re-introduce myself or what...?

    Lately, I've been seriously phobic about mirrors. Like...I can't even go in the bathroom without having my Mom check first. I know it sounds childish, but...I don't know. The fear has always been there, but it's never been a phobia...Except now, I think it's developing into one.

    And along with becoming phobic of mirrors, I think (as weird as this is going to sound) that I'm becoming slightly phobic of toilets. I almost embarrassed myself last night because I couldn't bring myself to use a toilet because...I don't know why. Sad It's really horrible.

    (I've been raped once... and I'm just afraid of it now.)

    Thantophobia - Fear of Death or Dying;

    Tocophobia - Fear of Pregnancy or Childbirth;

    Contreltophobia - Fear of Sexual Abuse;

    Apiphobia, Melissophobia - Fear/Dislike of Bees;
    (Ive never been stung, and I don't plan on it)

    Algophobia — Fear of Pain;
    (The idea of pain in anyway is just so scary)

    Escalaphobia- Fear of Escalators;
    (They just freak me out for some reason)

    Acrophobia- Fear of Heights;

    Cleisiophobia- Fear of being locked in an enclosed place;

    Gerascophobia- Fear of growing old;

    Mastigophobia- Fear of punishment;

    I also have a huge phobia of being abused in anyway, but maybe that could be a part of Algophobia.

    I think that the phobia that intrigues me most is philophobia-the fear of falling in love.
