For your computer, how do you listen? Who here even bothers with that when you can just search for the song you want on YouTube? xD

*prepares for onslaught of people who will say iTunes*

Personally, I prefer QuodLibet. It's simple, and it gets the job done far, far better than anything else I've used. It's the only player I've ever really cooperated with, rather than fighting tooth and nail with when it comes to the complexities of my music library.

I use foobar2000. It's perfect and it never freezes on me like iTunes used to do.

I'm trying out Songbird right now. It's a music player/browser.

    I use Rhythmbox.

Initially because it was the pre-installed music player on Ubuntu. But after using iTunes and WMP on a Windows partition, I realise how much I prefer Rhythmbox.

^Rhythmbox is alright. I used it a lot too when I first used Ubuntu, but then I started to check out the other options in synaptic... Banshee, Amarok, and Exaile... until I finally settled with QuodLibet.

    Depends.
Computer wise, I use Windows Media player.
Internet wise, I just go to playlist.com.
Can't hold nearly as much songs, and some of them aren't found, but right now I don't have access to my media player D:

I'm an iTunes girl computer-wise. In Love I haven't needed another player since I got it years ago. But when I can't access iTunes, I'll use the internet player Grooveshark. You have to add your songs to the playlist by dragging them, which can be a little irritating if you're planning on listening to a lot, but it's got most the music I look for and I've never had major problems with it. I also don't have to worry about possibly needing to skip songs or being given a skipping limit, like with Pandora.

I use iTunes myself. I do use Pandora, because I hadn't bothered to search for another player out there. If I can't access iTunes, I use YouTube. But again, iPods and such...I really have no choice but to use iTunes. xD

That's apple propoganda! There's a plethora of other ways you can use your ipod... unless it's an ipod touch or iphone and you want to manage your apps on it, anyway. xD

I've got gtkpod and I find that it works better with my ipod than itunes ever has.
Other than gtkpod, there's also Amarok, Banshee, MediaMonkey, and I heard even Winamp can handle using an ipod.

I use SongBird for my phone. I used to use iTunes for my Touch, but it's not compatible for my Galaxy (my phone).
So far it works great! I used to use Windows Media Player, but hated it.

I find it shocking that no one has mentioned VLC Player! It's a perfect little music player that has all the codecs you need to play music and video alike!

Spotify ftw. Sure it costs money, but srsly it's only £5 a month, and it's by far the best music player I've ever come across.

I only use Youtube if I want to check a song I don't have, never ever as a music player.

I have a very unpopular opinion. I think the player that has the best sound without having to play around with any controls is Real Player. However, it seems to be easily affected by anything else you're doing on the computer at the same time (makes it jump), at least on my computer. So, unless I'm only using the computer to listen to music, I use Winamp. Windows Media Player has the worst sound ever in my opinion. And I have no use for iTunes. If I downloaded music through it too, then I'd maybe try it.
