I just recently pretty much cried for a while after listening to Because of you- Kelly Clarkson. Some people might go "eww that's an old song." but it really made me cry. There was so many things about that song that made me think about my shitty life. I never realized how much it seemed as if she was singing my life story. Even if I just read the lyrics, it makes me cry for a while. Now, everytime I hear that song, I practically bawl my eyes out.

Unless I'm in public, that's just embarassing.

So what exactly gets you emotional?

Sometimes when I listen to In Joy and Sorrow by HIM, I just start crying. It's a beautiful song with so much feeling in it and Ville's voice just makes it more touching. In Love

When I'm caught up in being vulnerable and I end up listening to a song that fits how I feel perfectly. The whole process of hanging on to hope when you want to give up gets to me.

There's a lot of things I guess. Edward Scissorhands. It's so beautiful and pure and it portrays the "teenage" feeling incredibly well. It makes me cry every time.

The songs Seize The Day and Dear God, Warmness On The Soul by Avenged Sevenfold, Cancer and Disenchanted by My Chemical Romance, Nona by Motley Crue, How Do You Get That Lonely by Blaine Larson.

The books The Lovely Bones by Alice Seybold, The Heroin Diaries: A Year In The Life Of A Shattered Rockstar by Nikki Sixx (during the serious parts, where he's talking about suicide and when he's high).

The movies Titanic, Pay It Forward, Mask (With Cher, it's from the '80s), and Hysteria: The Def Leppard Story.

These things make me cry the most. There's a lot more, but these are the most emotional things to me.

Titanic the movie made me cry the first time I say it. In addition, the song 'This Time Imperfect' by AFI and a specific episode of Yu-Gi-Oh! made me cry.

Johann Johannsson's Flugeldar, not Flugeldar II, and many other of his creations set me on the verge of tears [nearly] each and every time I listen to it/them. I can't really explain why this happens, but I know if I need to make myself cry because of life issues, I just pop in my earbuds and play Johann Johannsson. It's the perfect stress reliever!

I remember crying during two movies out of my life, both causing my tears because of a death that reminded me of when I lost a friend in middle school. One movie, I will admit, seriously made me cry: Bridge to Terabithia. It's amazing how what was supposed to be some stupid little kid's movie got me bawling because of it's ending xD

As for etc, thinking about my future and its worst possible outcomes :shot:
    Teenage Dirtbag.:

I haven't found one of those yet, but some writers on Mibba are quite amazing. I won't lie when I say a good handful of Mibbans have caused an outburst of emotion or a few tears to leak out because of their written creations.

I get emotional when I think of all the things people have said to me over the years because I choose not to be serious all the time or worry over my looks. I've been put down, people telling me I shouldn't become a writer because I may not be good enough or because it doesn't pay much.
The movie The Boy In The Striped Pajamas made me sob hysterically to my dad (I was twelve) and it will probably make me do that again if I ever see it. I sobbed for almost an hour and I just could not stop.
Also, when I think back to when my brother had all of his problems and I cried hysterically when one of his favorite songs, 'Such Great Heights' by The Postal Service, came on and I was at a party. I couldn't get a hold of myself, and then my dad started to cry because I told him why I was crying.
Though, I've been really emotional lately.

When I listen to Pink Martini's version of Splendor In The Grass and think about The Great Gatsby.
When I listen to Cancer by MCR
When I listen to The Desert Song by MCR
I cried reading A Wrinkle In Time (that was because the change in Charles was fucking tragic okay?)
Some movies that did it... uh 'Click' '10.5' 'The Bridge To Terabithia' okay that shit was sad and completely un-fucking-called for! 'Armageddon' uh... 'Sin City' when Hartigan kills himself.
I get pretty depressed or sad or just remorseful in those situations.

Unfortunatley, it seems everything does. Keep in mind, however, that not all emotions are bad.
