The style of writing was really interesting and the plot was fab, but I found myself crying at the end Shifty Cry

Dirk Gently's Holistic Detective Agency by Douglas Adams. It was of course spectacular, though I didn't get the ending at first because I don't know shit about Coleridge and sort of forgot what it said in the beginning. I had to check it out on Wikipedia but now it's all good and. So yeah. It was really a rewarding read :D

I really liked it, but then again reading about killer cars is something I don't usually do- so it was a nice change.

Utopia by Sir Thomas More. It's an interesting book but it does get a little dull after a while. The idea of utopia somehow bores me. Everything is like this and therefore it is good...well, no. I've come to the conclusion that the absence of perfection makes the world exciting because we're all crawling round trying to achieve it and stepping on eachother in the process. Struggle is what makes the achievement worthwhile. Some passages were really interesting, such as the argument in favour of Euthanasia and the justification for war.

My major issue was with the translation. It was written in Latin originally. This translation was in the Norton Anthology and therefore I shouldn't be surprised at the Americanisation, but I still don't have to like it. In parts it was too colloquial and the idea of Sir Thomas More using the word 'anyhow' made me laugh and cringe at the same time.

The last book I read was Hesit Society by Ally Carter. Her books make me want to be a thief or a spy.

I had already read the whole series but that book, I kept rereading it, it was my favorite since Jagger was in it a lot. And God, Phoenix was so sexy in there. Cheese Too bad he was really Alexander in disguise.

I liked it, the last few sentences were especially powerful and since we learnt about the Chinese Cultural revolution a few years ago, it was interesting to read.
