I had basically read everything I could find of Wilde's but his only novel. Shame on me, really. Reading that and how boastful and self-impressed his characters were, how indulgent it all was, it makes his essay De Profundis all the more poignant.
Not That Kind of Girl by Lena Dunham. I know there's been a lot of controversy surrounding her, and her book, and I've seen petitions whereby people are asking for her show to be cancelled. I've never seen her show. I followed her on Twitter because I thought she was funny and I thought she looked cool. When I saw that she had a book that talked about body image and sex, I wasted no time deliberating whether or not to buy it, and I bloody loved it.
