SHINee

Shinee (샤이니, stylized as SHINee, pronounced /Shiny/) is a contemporary R&B South Korean boy band.[1] Formed by SM Entertainment in 2008, they made their debut on May 25, 2008 on SBS's Popular Songs with their promotional single, "Nunan Neomu Yeppeo (Replay)" ("누난 너무 예뻐 (Replay)", lit. "Older Sister, You're So Pretty"). The group consists of Onew, Jonghyun, Key, Minho, and Taemin.

Since their debut, Shinee has won numerous awards. They have also starred in their own reality show based on their song, "Nunan Neomu Yeppeo (Replay)". Shinee are considered to be fashion icons having started the "Shinee Trend", which is popular amongst the younger generation.

My friend and I were trying to do the dance for Ring Ding Dong today during study hall.
I was a complete fail.
But my friend can dance like crazy.
She's going to make a video of her dancing to it now.
Just for me.

^^ I'm kinda jealous of your friend. I wish I could do the Ring Ding Dong dance. I fail at dancing though.

My friend linked me to Hello yesterday. I've been listening to them non-stop since then. I love Lucifer.

I got into them when Lucifer came out, though didn't fully start fangirling until around October or so.
I think my bias is Key. Second bias is slowly starting to be Onew. It was Minho at first, though.
Speaking of Minho, look what that boy sang at their First Concert in Japan as his solo:

It's a fancam, and they didn't have a very good view, but just listen to it.
Some fans on tumblr were spazzing that he actually said "boobies".

but it's so hard to choose a fave member.........
if I should choose a person to chill out with I'd choose Key and Jong
as a good friend I'd choose Taemin

I wrote this in 'fessions, but thought you guys would find this amusing:

I just showed my mom the choreography of Lucifer, because I wanted to learn it, and while watching it she asks, "You like oriental guys, don'tcha?" I reply, " Yes." She then asks, "Just oriental?" And I then reply, "No, I like white guys too. "
I then proceeded to tell her I'd love to learn the choreo to Lucifer, but we have no room, and I'd probably literally bring the house down if I try.


But yeah.

And to add on to that, she pointed at Taemin and said, laughing a little, "That girls shirt.." cause, y'know, in the dance version Taemin's shirt is rather flashy and brings attention. I then reply that it's a guy, and proceed to tell her that it's his hair that lead her to believe that Tae was a girl.

Lol xD Well, Taemin makes a cute girl... ;]

This is obviously some girls' bodies and SHINee's faces are just photoshopped, but there, see Taemin? LOL at Jong. Also, Onu ^^

As for Keyyyyyy, he makes such a pretty girl as he makes a handsome boy.


How do you feel doing the choreography? :D I mean, do you feel like you're losing weight? To me these chores seem difficult to learn :D

Oh my Gawd. Everybody except for Minho makes for a pretty girl in that photoshopped picture.
But yeah. Key makes for a pretty girl.

It's not that I'm overweight (I'm actually skinny), but that my house isn't in the best of shape, and I don't need to be jumping around. I don't want it getting closer to collapsing because of me. And I don't have any room to actually learn it properly.

I've been watching the mirrored versions of it, though, and the slowed down versions of the mirrored versions.
I think I'd be able to learn it. It does look like a difficult choreo, though.

I watched the entire Sukira interview (subbed, of course ) and I'm just loving them more and more. They're all so adorable and funny.

Key was like, "We were doing a signing the other day, and Minho asked a fan how old she was. She said she was nineteen, and do you know what he said? 'Study hard and listen to your parents'. He's telling someone barely a year younger than him to listen to their parents!" I couldn't stop giggling.
Andandand, Onew and Taemin are so cute together. Not in a couple-y way, in a brotherly way. Like, whenever Taemin said something, he'd hold his mic too far away from his mouth and Onew kept pushing it towards him. And they were all told to choose a song that they'd sing to someone if they were proposing, and Taemin was all nervous when he started singing his, and Onew helped him with the first note. I was like D'AWW.

...Sorry if you guys have seen it and I'm just repeating things you already know.

I would love to learn the dance for Lucifer. I was YouTube-ing tutorials for it the other day, but I was too lazy to actually try it out.
