Fun.

I'm honestly surprised there isn't a topic on them already.

Fun. is a band based in New York, New York. It was formed by Nate Ruess, previously of The Format. Alongside him are Andrew Dost and Jack Antonoff.

They've been compared to Queen -- a really strong comparison, I know -- but after hearing that, I really can agree. I hear the resemblance. A modern Queen.

They supported on the Jack's Mannequin tour, most recently. This is where I saw them, and it's seriously just instant love. They're gonna be touring with Motion City Soundtrack in April-ish, so be ready to hear more about them.

I like Fun., but The Format is a lot better. Like a million times better.

I was going to start this but was too lazy.

I am seriously in love with this band, I saw them twice last week with Jack's and they're seriously one of the bets live bands I've had the pleasure of watching. Take Your Time is the best live song I've ever seen.

I love The Format as well, but I can't say that I like them more. They're a different type of music.

I do love that. I wondered what all the hype was about and when I first listened I was like "Oh, this is different." After listening to the CD a couple times I fell in love.

The online music magazine I write for has a guest column and someone that wrote in it told what her current favorite songs were for traveling with (she's a tour manager) and fun. had one or two songs on the list.
