Comment on the Story Layout

First of all, I love Spender Reid! Oh, I love him!

So, the layout is nice. I like how the banner and background match. I don't really like sans serif fonts.

Playing Prisoner

It's a nice, simple layout.
I like the picture, not to heavy or annoying.
I like the textured background, but not in that color.

Goodnight My Deadliest Disease

The banner is fabulous. I don't like the link color, I don't think it meshes well with the pink but everything else is great.

Dream Girl

I like the banner and how it matches up with the center. I like the background. I reserve my judgement for clicking and seeing how everything looks when I see a chapter. So it's good, but I don't love it yet. :)

To the Bones.

I like the background picture and the banner.
I like the soft and light colors you chose.
I don't mind it being to the right, but it could be better if you centered it.

The Broken Hearted.

The pic is nice. Simple.
The whole lazout is simple, which is a good thing.
I'm not a big fan of pastel colors.

I'm Leaving on a Jet Plane

Not a big fan of the banner size or of it being on the left, but it's very nice.

I like the black background, very simple, and the white is very good to use to with it. I don't like the green as the link color; it doesn't mesh very well.

Zuflucht

I'm not really a fan of pure black backgrounds, and this isn't really an exception. The banner is really nice and everything blends really well. The colors in the font seem to match with the colors in the banner.
I think after a while, this is a theme that would start to hurt my eyes a little. The dull font color is much better then a bright and bold one, but I think that even a lighter background in the story area would make it easier on my eyes, at least.

I'll Hold You

claimI like the simplicity of the background. I love the placement of the story area and the use of simple colors. I love the banner, how it's to the side. It shakes things up and really catches your eye since everything is so simple. I like the "symbol" thing you used in the summary. The basic colors work really well.

The End of Days.

The banner is really emotional, really showing.
I like the simple background picture, even though the colors don't match.
The font is also nice, and I like how color of the link is matching the banner.
I just don't see the need for the pic on the bottom

And with the Way You've Been Talking

The colors all go really nicely together, the only thing I don't like is how the font color of the link doesn't really seem to fit with the color scheme.
I think the banner is a little big and causes you to scroll a bit too far down the screen. I personally don't really like it when I can't see at least the beginning of the chapter before scrolling.
Other then that, the golden font on the black background is one of the only ones I've seen in a while that doesn't hurt my eyes to look at. This is one of the few layouts with only a black blackground that I could actually sit down and read through.

Ordinary

The only thing I don't like is that little line of white above the banner. I think the colors are perfect, the alignment is perfect, the banner is spectacular. I even think the right alignment works and I normally hate that.

Whore.

I like the banner a lot. The title fits with the picture perfectly, and I like the effect. I like the centering of it too.

The only thing I don't like is the background, but it's not even that bad.

War & Chocolate Cake

I actually hated the hugeness of the picture. It took about two seconds to love it. It's unusual and not something I see often and I really like that. I like how you kept everything else solid and simple so it wasn't overpowering.

Wunderkind.

As I've said before, I don't really enjoy it when I have to scroll down to see the beginning of a chapter, it just seems like a lot of unnescassary space. I also don't like with this layout how the picture is so much bigger then the story area.

I don't really like pure white font on black backgrounds but this doesn't look too bad at all. I love how it's centered, though the link color doesn't seem to fit with your color theme at all.


Late.

Oh my goodness. My computer is so slow so it took a few moments for the background to load but I love the background! I usually like more solid backgrounds but this really works.
The story area is nice as well. All the colors seem to go really nicely together. It's a very nice layout.

Because I Am A Girl

Not too keen on the pastel background, but the pic is nice.
I also like that clip art divider in the middle of the layout.

Forget Superstition by Wearing It Backwards

I think the banner is amazing. I love that you actually have 'backwards' backwards. I also love the picture in the story area background. I don't really get the yellow font. It's a disconnect for me. Red works with grey, but the yellow just... doesn't work for me. I'm also not sure the title needs to be displayed so prominently on two lines when it's already in the banner.

It's Wrong (Probably).

The banner is amazing. I like how it's off-centered from the rest of the layout. The background works really well with the layout. When I click on the story link it doesn't distract me from the words.

Dream Girl

It's very pretty. I love the banner, the picture is a great choice and I love the colours and fonts, but I think the padding could be thicker.

Wednesday Nights

I love the simple black text on white background! It's the surest way to be readable. And I really like the banner. :) The solid green background is a little boring for me. I prefer a more textured background. All in all, it's not bad. :)

Waiting the story is mostly about nothingness. Does the layout convey that w/o being boring?
