Comment on the Story Layout

I like it a lot. The layout isn't overly boring, but it isn't completely unboring. It's just the right mix. The background is nice, and I like the layout image. The colors accentuate the image well.

Pictures Motionless?

I like the banner and the background color is a little dull but it matches the banner so all is good. It's simple but not too simple.

I'm guessing the kid in the banner is one of the guys in the story maybe?

Anyway, it's nice, simple, exactly what I love with layouts. It's not harsh to the eye. I like it.

I don't see how the banner relates to the title of the story but not a big deal.

The picture is blurry, but that makes it all the more beautiful. The color you chose for the background fits it all too perfectly. I love the font, all the way down to the color you chose for the links.

I really love the banner! :D The rest is okay, I guess. It's readable, though I would prefer if the text and the background contrasted more, but it's not too bad the way it is.

I think it's effing immense tbh. I love the way you've blended Jack and his hat and the picture in the background is rather spiffy. Also the colours used for fonts etc. are just lovely.

I like it. It's very calm looking. The pastel blue is soft and pretty, and the picture matches well. :]

I envy your ability to combine both a background and a banner, and have it look absolutely gorgeous. I find that whenever I attempt both a patterned background and banner, it always looks stupid.

Anyway, I love the colors used, the background is gorgeous. The only thing is that I don't really see what the banner has to do with the title or the content of the story, but it does look nice.

Whoa. That is so... pretty. If I could mark it out of ten, I'd give it a twelve. I love the background colour, and the banner, and how the story is right underneath it. And even the font. And that little graphic is just amahzing.

Freak of Nature.

I really love the sectioning in the banner and I love the title. I think it goes over the picture image, if I'm not mistaken and I really love that trick. I like that the colors are very clean and not at all distracting. I like that you chose to balance a darker color with a lighter. I also really like the right alignment of the chapter titles and the choice to use a different font.

I Meant It.

Truthfully, I think it's okay.

The main background image (the scribble) is a bit distracting, and I'm not a big fan of it repeating the way it does. The colors of the image don't seem to match the rest of the layout that well, either. Those are pretty much the only things that bother me.

On the other hand, the banner is great, and I like the image in the corner of the story area (fin.). The image is subtle, but it works.

I like how the quote in the summary is aligned; it contrasts the rest of the summary without being too much.

(Oh my God, I almost feel like a traitor saying that paragraph about the background. )

Beyond Control?

The scribbling/cursive font in the banner is wonderful. And the font for the title is absolutely amazing. I also love the little design thing in the bottom left-hand corner. The banner in general, is just great. I think the font color could be a slightly lighter shade of gray. It's totally possible to read, it's just a little dark for black background, in my opinion.

I think it would be nice if there were a border around the story area or something because the banner is just so intricate and then there's really nothing else to the layout. I understand matching complexity with simplicity, but I think just a small touch would sort of bring it all together.
