Comment on the Story Layout

Beautiful. The tans and browns looked so great. (I like brown.) I also really enjoy those cool banners with the title in a neat font under the actual image, those are cool.

Wanderer.

It's alright. Everything matches but I feel as though nothing keeps my attention on the layout itself. Maybe if there was more of a pop I'd like it better.

Intention.

I'm not sure if I'm diggin' the victorian pattern with the banner, but otherwise I think it's lovely. I love how the banner fades into the summary.

I think it's lovely, very eerie and sets the mood for the story. Especially the picture. It gave me chills. I love it.

It's alright, I don't really see anything that stands out about it. I like the banner and the quotes, it's not bad.

Usually I like symmetry in layouts but I like how the banner isn't in line with the content. Plus the banner is gorgeous and okay I'm just really feeling the whole layout okay.

Nebel Holz Feuer.

Absolutely beautiful. I love the background and the divider you've used. The only thing I dislike slightly is how see-through the actual content box is because it messes with my eyes, but aside from that, it's gorgeous.

Trouble?

It's really pretty, especially the .gif. I really like the simple color scheme and how well everything goes together. I'm not sure about that space between the banner and the content, though.

An oldish one: Bright?

I absolutely love it, especially the way the background is small-ish and in a fixed position. By far one of the best layouts I've ever seen, definitely inspires me to start mixing up my own layouts. Great job!

Anamnesis. Scroll down a bit to see the full extent of the layout, part of it is (purposefully) hidden. Ignore the length of the content box as well, it's only that size so you're able to scroll down. Advice would be greatly appreciated, I'm very unsure about it. Be brutal.

It's beautiful, but the text is awfully large. Personal preference of mine is to give the text box a padding of 20-50 on each side to keep it well away from the content boundary, since it makes it hard to read if it's pressed against the box. Aside from that, I like it a lot.

Nebel Holz Feuer?

I love it! I love the small print, and the background picture is just so damn beautiful.

The Daughters of Guadalupe?

I really like that the background of the banner and the background of the story continue so well even with the content border. I think it's a perfect balance. The layout itself holds a lot of characters and I think it should represent your story well. :)

Aurora Woods

It's lovely, except for the page tile, which seems a little too big and distracting. If you resize it, it would work out a little better. But I love the monochrome colour scheme and the banner especially; it's beautiful altogether. Good work.

Nebel Holz Feuer? I can't decide which one works the best.

I'd give it an 8 out of 10. I think everything works nicely except the background to the page. It's a little fuzzy doesn't totally match the overall theme.

Obscure?

9/10. I think the banner, the content colour and the background all work really well together, both as a layout and tying everything in with the title. The only thing I don't like is the way the font is slightly blurred. It makes it really difficult for me to read and messes with my eyes a bit.

All Hands on Deck?

I like the banner and how simple the layout is overall. I like how the background is solid in comparison to one with a pattern/texture, because the one in the border does a really nice job of kind of dividing the solid block of the text background. The only thing I'm not too keen on is probably the background of the chapter title — I feel like it doesn't really fit in with the colours in the banner or the background.
