I'm Caucasian. My family is from Ireland so I have this really pale skin that doesn't tan at all. If I go into the sun I burn after a few minutes. When my friends burn it's fade into a pretty tan. My burn fades to pale. >.>

    I'm black.
And I hate all the stereotypes that are associated with being black. All of them.
And I hate it when there are people of my race that prove those stereotypes true.
And I hate it when people of other ethnicities make racist remarks in front of you, and expect you not to get offended because they consider you their "friend" and you're expected to not take it personally.

I especially hate when someone is extremely racist, but doesn't know they are.

Living in Texas is both an immense blessing and a curse. O_<

I'm Italian. I hate "guidos" (the tools you see on the show Jersey Shore [and I'm FROM that town, btw, and the locals are NOTHING like that!]) and how people think we're ALL like them. I live in New Jersey, and there is a HUGE Italian population in the tri-state area (NJ/NY/CT) but outside of the three? There's, like, six Italians everywhere else in the states. So they watch that ridiculous show and probably think all Italians act like that when we definitely don't.

I hate how old-fashioned (in a bad way) my Korean family is. Becasue my mom is white, my Grandmother was really mad that my dad married her. Women in the family are still expected to wait on the men, stay home, and in general adhere to the old phrase "barefoot and pregnant." Also, they are very focused on status, so when I told my dad that I hope to be going to UC Davis, UC San Francisco, or Stanford, he asked me why I wouldn't be going to a big name school. Grr.

I like being Asian, but I hate that we are being discriminated sometimes. I hate how people stereotype. Like if you're Asian, you're smart, you know martial arts, you're good in Math and other stuff like that.

You all make me feel incredibly stupid for being so freaking vain. X|

I just hate the stereotypes as well. I go to a predominantly Black school (which I hate, I want to be somewhere more diverse) and some of the students are extremely closed minded and love to call me a " Oreo" ( black kid that's "white" on the inside) because I listen to mostly Rock and Alternative music. I just don't understand why it has to be that way, it just erks the hell out of me to hear stuff like that.

Sometimes I want to be white, cause i look on tv, and I find white familes to be so much more "open" and interesting.
I can only speak english fluently, and when I see all those movies and shows and then compare it with my want to being an actress-- I gotta tell you, they hire more white people, black peopoe, and mexican people than asian people for movies. D:
Most of the time, I'm grateful for having been born korean/asian. :)

I sometimes don't like being "white", mostly because there are a lot of inconsiderate people where I live, people of other ethnicities, who have teased me in past years for being so pale.

What I would give to tan and blend in with my Hispanic friends. I honestly only have two white friends. And to have an Irish/Czech/Scottish pride parade without it being St. Patrick's Day.

I really don't dislike anything physically about being white, other than the terrible sunburns I get. I'm fine with the paleness, and my hair's inability to do anything but lie flat on my head. However, I hate how I have to watch what I'm saying in front of people. I can't take a stand on, say, illegal immigration, or I'll be labeled as racist.

I'm a massive list of stuff, but mostly it's German and Austrian. My family's background is Jewish, and even though it's a religion, I still follow the holidays and stuff despite the fact that I'm a Christian.

    Germans get a lot of shit because of the Holocaust, and Jewish people are made fun of a lot, too. There was one day where some girl shouted, "Jew!" in the parking lot and I grabbed her by the back of the collar and told her never to say that in a derogatory manner again. Then her sister came over and hit me ;_;

But yeah, Jews had to survive through the concentration camps, so what now >D

I'm actually proud to be German, though, for no particular reason other than stuff like the language and the culture in general (i.e., my sig). Germans are known for being proud of themselves, so that would explain it, I guess ;p

...and I'm white as hell and cannot tan :D

^ I love Germany, its one place I've always wanted to go. I think I get that from my Mum; she loves it too.

I'm so pale, I don't tan but I burn. Oh, lord, do I burn.
I had sunburn marks on feet for almost a year. Facepalm
And I have awful freckles, they just don't suit me :\

I know exactly what you mean. I'm six generation's Australian, but if you go back further than that; I'm Scottish. No tan, I get asked if I'm feeling okay by people who don't know me because I'm pale and they think I'm sick. When i get sick and turn pale i get told i look like a corpse.

The Australian stereotype is tanned, blonde etc. no tan for me (nor blonde hair); but I'm as Aussie as you can get, mate.

I sometimes get very angry with people's stereotypes of white people. Yes, we are all middle-upper classers who go to nice schools, sit in Starbucks all day with our Macs, and have a Blackberry/IPod attached to our hands.

I hate how people look at me, see that I'm white, and make assumptions about where I come from and what I'm like. I hate when kids at school think it's okay to say "maann white girl, watch where you're going" and expect me to be scared/respond.

I'm half Irish. On my dad's side, my entire family's a bunch of drunks and racists. It's pretty pathetic how stereotypical they are. I just thank God for giving me my mom to make up for my dad.

I'm German, cue the Nazi jokes. And to make it worse my great uncle died in the front lines during WW2, so the Nazi jokes are really bad. Though I do love the natural alcohol control, the love & taste for strong alcohol and the fact that I don't get hangovers, apparently I get that from my Opa. XD Germans are huge drinkers, that stereotype is true. Other than being constantly called a Nazi, I love being German.

I'm also British (yeah, a German & a Brit, how did that work out?), so I don't tan. I burn. I'm actually getting a bit of a tan this year, I'm really scared cause I've always been white or red. And I saw some words really weird, like if I speak out how British say words with a Canadian accent. It's really weird.

I'm Canadian. So every fucking time I tell someone, someone pulls the
"Woot? Woot are you talking aboot? aye? EH? EH? WOOT? WOOT? WOOT DID YOU SAY?" shit.
    -_- Annoying as fuck

Also I'm German. So... of course the Nazi jokes

I'm also Irish. So, of course the whole. "YOU'RE STRAIGHT EDGE AND IRISH? NOT POSIBLE! YOU DRUNKEN SLUT"
I like being from Ireland though, becuase my Great-Grandfather blew up a train and got his ass deported.
Thus is why, I am living in America not Ireland.

I'm Scottish, and my Mum's naturally ginger. Perfect recipe really, but nooo. Bloody genes.

I never try to tan, don't understand the fascination with having one, but it does annoy me how easily I burn, 'cause, ya know, it hurts.

And, more of a culture thing than an ethnic thing, but all the English hate amongst Scots. GET OVER IT!
