I'm Scottish, and my Mum's naturally ginger. Perfect recipe really, but nooo. Bloody genes.

I never try to tan, don't understand the fascination with having one, but it does annoy me how easily I burn, 'cause, ya know, it hurts.

And, more of a culture thing than an ethnic thing, but all the English hate amongst Scots. GET OVER IT!
I'm Scottish too and got the gingerness from my dad.

The burning this is sooooo annoying! Especially with the great weather we've been having lately!

I just really hate stereotypes and it's often from other African American people. I'm black and I absolutely love all things Rock, hottopic and Journeys. I live for Vans Warped Tour and 80's movies. And I'm always called an Oreo (black girl that's white on the inside) it's just annoying.

I'm pretty much full Middle Eastern, my entire family (with the exception of like, my uncle and cousin's wives) speaks fluent Arabic, and my entire family's Muslim.
I hate when my mom acts as though things in America are the same as they are back in the middle east, and tries to fill me and my older sister's head with bullshit that all the other mothers think are true when it's NOT.

I also seriously want to sock every fucking person who calls me a terrorist.
Make a racist comment towards me, and I'll make one right back at you. Except it'll be worse.

This. So fucking true. Only my parents really make fun of me for this kind of stuff, but I still find it annoying.

I'm Persian, and the only thing I don't like about it is how stupidly strict my parents are..A lot of Persians are really stuck-up and snobby too.

I also tan really easily in summer. Paler skin suits me more as it contrasts well with my dark hair and hazel eyes hehe Mr. Green

so i wanted my hair like everyone elses . i hought that cutting it wld make it easier to control. my hair was all the way down almost past my butt and then i chopped it all
off in sixth grade. and since im half black my hair grows extremely slow. now im about to go in 8th grade and its only grown a bit..like a little past my shoulders. and thats only when i straighten my hair. thats what i dislike the most.

I hate that BECAUSE I'm white I'm not usually allowed to participate in discussions about hating ethnicity. I also hate that every time I try to talk about America and how we should get more people to learn English before they move here that I get jumped, called a racist and reminded of how many other ethnicities I've killed...

    Shifty

Like...they really honestly blame ME for killing people... I don't remember being someone who just ran around killing people all over the world. Sorry?

(I really hope I didn't offend anyone...just I hate being told that I'm awful and privileged because I'm white. >.<)

I'm Korean, and I honestly have to say that most Asians are probably racist. Scratch that. They are very, VERY racist.
I don't think my parents are racist, but more so that they judge people on their cultural backgrounds. For example, my mother wants me to marry a Chinese man because by culture, they treat the wives really well while she wants my older brother to marry a Japanese women because they treat the husbands very well. I, on the other hand, grew up in America, so I want to marry a good looking east-Asian guy, but more so of a Korean guy... and trust me, I have yet to meet a good looking Chinese guy!!
And I swear that I'm not being racist either, that's just how it is! Even one of my best friends, who is Chinese, is against me (or her lol) marrying a Chinese guy. She told me to just stick with my own ethnicity, haha.
(and i swear that i'm not stalking you jessibunny!)

No problem. =] I enjoy discussion. I already think I'm sort of a thread killer. >.< When I comment people tend to stop posting.

Another thing, being called a ginger because I have freckles. I'm about as mutt as it gets with the whole ancestory things. I'm pretty much a tad bit of EVERYTHING. With the focus being on Irish, Scottish, and Dutch. So my looks don't really match the general looks for anywhere. Brown hair that's red in the sun, grey eyes, freckles galore and my inability to go outside without frying.

Russian here. It seems a lot of us Slavs have deep-set eyes and it makes doing fancy eye makeup a pain in the arse. For me, anyway.

I envy people who grow up in bilingual families because they get to learn a foreign language while they're kids.

I used to hate my pale skin. I was obsessed with becoming orange back when I was 15 or 16. But since pale skin was considered as a good quality in my culture, my mom refused to let me purchase any self-tanners, or go to tanning salons. But as I got older, I started to appreciate my skin, and now I love it :)

I hate the fact since a good half of my culture is Irish, I get beer and alcoholics as recognition. It's crap, and the fact that I'm crazy pale. And I can't tan. And I have freckles...

I don't hate my ethnicty, just hate the stereotypes and the vast amounts of ignorance there is in it. But it's not all on my ethnicity to blame. Why my race though? Facepalm
I'm African American by the way.

I used to envy ROC-Canadians (rest-of-Canada), Americans and Brits, because they got to speak English everyday. To me, it was the language you had to speak to be successful, or even famous.

(now I am extremely glad to be a native French-speaker, though! I wouldn't trade it for anything!)
